The offseason is key for prospects to gain momentum on the recruiting trail and get in front of college coaches and scouts. We spotlight several wideouts who have ramped up their play this offseason.
Mitchell has a long, lean frame, with a large catch radius and he has large hands that engulf the football. He is shifty in space, he is a sharp route runner and his ability to get open often was on full display in a recent 7v7 tournament in Dallas. Dereion is a big body target, who knows how to use his big frame in tight coverage, by walling off defenders to make grabs in heavy traffic. He was able to make several big red zone grabs, using his length to rise up over the coverage to win on contested catches. Mitchell is a multisport standout, who is an explosive playmaker on the basketball court and he uses that same athleticism to play above the rim on the gridiron. He is a prospect who is flying under the radar and college programs should get eyes on this offseason.

Tallie has off the charts athleticism, he is a savvy route runner and he has the speed to get deep to make the big play. Dilon has a lean, rangy frame with an extended reach that enables him to win on the 50/50 jump routinely. Tallie is a superb route runner with ability to change gears quickly, he gets in and out of his breaks without losing speed and he understands how to get open no matter what coverage is being played. One of the top returning wideouts in the 2025 class, Toledo most recently came to the table with an offer to add to his offer sheet that includes, Sam Houston, Colorado, UTEP, LaTech, Texas State and San Diego State.

Harris is strong at the point of attack, he uses his length to fight off defenders in close coverage and his ability to get open when he faces press coverage, enables him to be a reliable target for his quarterback. Kelan has been on a tear this offseason on the 7v7 circuits, showing a versatile skill set with ability to line up in the slot or out wide and beat any defense thrown in front of him. He is shifty in space, his footwork is clean and he runs sharp routes that allows him to beat defenders consistently. Harris is a red zone threat, his ability to climb the ladder to high point the football, is one the traits in his game that makes him an offensive weapon. Harris has the skill set that next level receiving targets possess, he is a big body target, who plays fast and is a prospect that collegiate programs need to get eyes on this offseason.
