Lair made the trip up and clearly did his best to be name combine king of the event. He showed exceptional athleticism, speed and power in his testing number, and also showed his versatility he brings with his receiving skills in one on ones. Kellen is an athlete who could play multiple positions, including RB or Slot receiver. As a junior he had 2,000 yards rushing with 37 touchdowns, and also had 38 catches for 638 yards receiving and 10 more touchdowns.

Another big-time athlete and all-purpose back who has the receiving skills to play in the slot, and also possesses good return skills was the speedy Thomas, who returned after previous impressive combine performances. Zai’Aire is ultra quick and elusive to go along with his speed, plus has good power despite not being the biggest back. He also has very good hands and route running ability. He displayed those talents rushing for over 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with almost 500 yards receiving and 4 more touchdowns.

One of the top rushers in the Kansas City area in 2023 traveled over to the combine and showed why he put up such impressive numbers last season. Noah ran for 1,781 yards rushing, averaging 14 yards per carry, and had 29 touchdowns his junior season. He added another 363 yards receiving. He did a nice job showcasing his impressive athleticism in testing, with good speed and explosive power, was very coachable and had very good skills in drills and one on ones. Spencer could play running back or receiver on the next level as well as specials teams.

– 5’9″ 197 Testing results: 4.79 40 – 4.33 pro agility – 28″ vertical jump
The compact and powerful runner DeSlatte showed good speed in the forty, quickness and explosion. He has nice skills and was known more for his defensive play as a junior, but showed good skills and ability to catch the ball in drills and one on ones. He was the third leading rusher for the Grizzlies but looks ready to assume a bigger role carrying the ball his senior season.

Edin caught my attention a few weeks ago playing 7v7 with Boom football with his receiving and route running ability out of the backfield. He continued to impress at the combine with some solid testing numbers and showed he is a definite threat as a receiver in one on ones. Mulalic is powerfully built but quick with good feet and burst with deceptive speed. He looks ready for a breakout senior season and showed he is a definite college prospect.
