Doing these analysis allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Harrison Garrido- Creekside High c/o 25
5’10 100lbs
Garrido is a very talented rising senior running back Prospect for Creekside High, he’s the leading returning rusher in the district. Last season he rushed for 1328 yards, averaged 7.5 yards per carry, with 15 touchdowns and 7-100 yard rushing games. He also had 10 receptions for 104 yards. Big time under-the-radar Prospect coaches need to check out. Garrido was selected 2nd team All-News4JAX, and 1st Team All-District. He currently has an offer from Warner University.
Strengths:
- Has outstanding burst through the hole
- Straight-line speed to take it to the house
- Shows good spatial awareness
Danny Approbato- Creekside High/o 25
5’10 180lbs
Approbato was impressive this season as a junior. Approbato forms a really good one-two punch with Garrido, finishing the season with 219 yards rushing, averaging 5.9 yards per carry with 3 touchdowns. He had 1-100 yard rushing game on the season. He also chipped in on defense with 32 tackles, and an INT. Approbato will be one of the top returning athletes in the district next season.
Strengths:
- Good athleticism to play on either side of the ball at the next level
- Good acceleration and speed to flip his hips and run with receivers downfield
- Vision through the hole
Jordyn Bell- Atlantic Coast High c/o 25
5’7 170lbs
Jordyn Bell came over from Wolfson High School in 2023 and played well for the Stingrays. Bell is an National Honor Society student with a 3.8 GPA, and is a two-sport athlete that also runs track. His MaxPrep stats show through 5 games he rushed for 189 yards and also had 3 receptions for 29 yards. Bell has the ability to be one of the best running backs in the district next season.
Strengths:
- Flashes the physicality to drop his shoulder and run through tackles
- Speed (4.69 40, 11.7 100 Meter Dash)
- 3-down back with natural hands
Jayce Wellman- Atlantic Coast High c/o 25
5’8 175lbs
Wellman is an up-and-coming running back prospect in the district. His MaxPrep stats show through 4 games he rushed for 109 yards. Unfortunately, Wellman doesn’t have any Hudl film to evaluate, but he is a player to keep an eye on this Spring and for coaches to check out next season.
