Landry Suarez
Landry Suarez
Suarez is a backer that is able to read and react quickly, getting down hill to make a play at the line of scrimmage. He is able to fly around and make plays in the open field, being able to tackle with power and not giving up ground. He has the capability to drop back into coverage and can jar the ball away from receivers. Will be a player to add to the radar moving forward.
Aerik Ross
Aerik Ross
Ross is a backer that is a hard hitter, he is able to shuffle his feet to get into position and quickly get down hill and lay the wood on the ball carriers. He is a good open field tackler, seeing on film that he doesn’t over pursue the play while keeping a low base and striking the ball carrier with force. He does show the ability to drop back into coverage and can come away with INT’s at times.
Kaden Souders
Kaden Souders
Souders is a backer that has a lot of speed and is able to play sideline to sideline. He takes great pursuit angles and is always around the football. He is able to hit home when his number is called and blitzes with speed. He is able to drop back into coverage at times but he is more natural in the trenches, being able to get off of blocks quickly and making a tackle in the open field.
Xavier Viarrial
Xavier Viarrial
Viarrial is a backer with a lot of speed and is great at being able to read and react. When he reads the play, he comes flying up to make a play at or behind the line of scrimmage, being able to lay a pop on the ball carrier. He is good at delayed blitzes, being able to use his speed to get to the QB and cause a hurry up. He will be one of the top backers in this class and will be on the radar moving forward.
Josh Gonsalves
Josh Gonsalves
Gonsalves is good at being able to read the QB’s eyes and break on the ball to make a play. He does have some good hands and can come down with some INT’s. He is able to read his keys and come up and make a tackle near the line of scrimmage. He shows good technique and doesn’t over pursue, being able to make some tackles in the open field.
