The All state selection and regional defensive player of the year Highland Springs Brennan Johnson Brennan Johnson 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB Highland Springs | 2025 State VA looks like he can play FBS level football already. The Springers have a great tradition and were really the only squad who went toe to toe with Freedom last season, Johnson and company I assume are looking for revenge. One of Johnson’s biggest strengths is his speed, I believe that with his range and footwork he will be a safety at the next level. His closing speed on some his tackles are power 5 worthy already and with offers from over 20 division 1 schools, best believe you will see him on Saturdays real soon.

Manchester’s center Aiden Spencer Aiden Spencer 6’2″ | 220 lbs | OL Manchester | 2025 State VA is coming into his own and he has good size and length at 6’2 220 lbs.. One of the smartest lineman you will find Spencer has a 4.71 GPA, you can see why IVY league schools such as Princeton are sending him junior day invites. A very versatile linemen the young man does a great job in finishing his blocks and getting to the next level, he earned a well deserved honorable mention all-district selection last fall. Playing in a tough region, Spencer’s name has yet to ring out to a ton of colleges, with a great senior season, I am confident that will change.

Corey D Jacobs
Corey D Jacobs
I do not care about his ranking or who is recruiting him yet, Maury linebacker Corey D Jacobs just has a knack for making plays! The 6’1 185 lbs. bull plays for a squad that traditionally (almost yearly) sends several kids to FBS level program. When we get to team previews will break down more of his teammates later, Jacobs for my money deserves more recognition. A speedy outside linebacker who no quarterback is going to outrun on a blitz, the young man has good footwork too in his coverage. Also making plays on special teams, he is the type of kid division 2 coaches or higher should be paying attention too. Playing around a squad of all stars is not easy to stand out, check out his tape below he stands out plenty.
Charlie Haney
Charlie Haney
Cosby’s big time offensive tackle Charlie Haney is a crafty, physical lineman that typically leads the way in the Titans offense. Moving well for his big size and frame, you will typically see Haney pulling on his blocks downfield and he has the speed to get their. Haney has very good hand placement on each block, you do not see his hands move outside the defenders shoulder pads even when he is driving them to the ground. I do not see a ton of interest from college recruiters at this moment, but at 6’5 and 286 lbs. the offers are sure to be coming soon.
Jahmari Deloatch
Jahmari Deloatch
Oscar Smith is another powerhouse that traditionally has a few division 1 kids they send out every season. Defensive back Jahmari Deloatch is the latest as he has already received major power 5 offers from Syracuse, Michigan, Boston College and Virginia just to name a few. The four star corner plays that way on and off the field with a stellar 3.61 GPA. Deloatch is also a state champion in track & field proving once again that playing more than one sport is only going to benefit you in the long run. Wherever he ends up in 2025, the coaches and respective fan base should know they are getting a young man who will make a positive impact instantly.
