I have enjoyed watching Nick the past couple of years do a great job at local camps, competing and winning some well-deserved recognition. With the graduation of some talented players at Charlotte Catholic, I expect Nick to have a big senior season catching passes from Charlie Smith Charlie Smith 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Charlotte Catholic | 2025 State NC . The main thing I like about Nick is his route running and agility – he has the look of a prototypical slot wide receiver on the next level who can make catches to move the chains – and – explode for big plays in space.
Elijah Thompson – Mallard Creek
Currently with an offer from Ohio in hand, a lot of fans may not know Elijah’s name currently, but I am excited to see him in action this year. A 6’2 190-pound prospect, Elijah certainly looks the part of a player that could have a big-time breakout senior year. Elijah also runs track and lists a 3.8 GPA on his profile – always great to see. Elijah has interest from other schools on the next level, and when you look at some highlights you see why. Elijah has ability to win in one on one coverage against corners and high-point jump balls in those situations as well. Good speed with strong hands – I think the camp season will be a good one for Elijah.
Ben Kirsch – Ardrey Kell
I have really liked Ben as a wide receiver prospect for the past two years at Ardrey Kell. This past season he had 65 catches for almost 900 yards and 7 touchdowns. Ben was selected as an All-Conference Wide Receiver, and he showed up in the big games to make big plays. At 6’3 and 190 pounds, Ben is fast for his size and has repeatedly shown the ability to make contested catches in tight coverage. Ben is also a willing blocker and someone who you can go to when you need that big catch to move the chains on 3rd down. Ben has some college interest, and that interest should increase during this upcoming camp season – especially when Ben has a 3.6 GPA. Really good player.
Syir Sutton Syir Sutton 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Hough | 2026 State NC – Hough
Syir is a 6’0 and 180-pound prospect with offers currently from Charlotte, Marshall, and Elon – and more should be coming his way sooner than later. Some strengths of Syir would include making tough contested catches in traffic, a strong ability to separate from corners in one-on-one coverage, and high-pointing the football on the fade route in the end zone over defensive backs. I also like Syir’s overall speed and athleticism – I think he could play on the outside or in the slot on the next level. Pairing up with quarterback Trey Blakeney Trey Blakeney 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Hough | 2025 State NC , the Huskies should be putting up a lot of points this upcoming season.
Jaidyn Mckinnon – Berry
A 6’0 165 pound prospect, Jaidyn is an under-the-radar prospect at the moment, but he can be very productive with the football in his hands. Jaidyn also runs track, and he shows some impressive speed in the open field – whether it be as a wide receiver or as a returner on special teams. Jaidyn catches the ball well, away from his body, and displays strong hands consistently. He has always been a positive young man and has shown leadership traits in the times I have seen him in person on the sidelines. From a recruiting perspective – I would love to see Jaidyn get out to some camps because I think his athletic ability will get him onto some recruiting boards quickly with local colleges.
