Top Ranked Recruit
Tyrell Simmons Tyrell Simmons 6’3″ | 190 lbs | WR University Prep | 2024 State NY , a two-way player from UPrep was one of the most dynamic athletes in Western New York the previous two seasons. Simmons, who had plenty of interests from multiple division 1 schools will land at Buffalo where he will line up at WR for the Bulls. Simmons is athletic and has the length and frame that make him a mismatch for defensive backs. Simmons is explosive out of his breaks and has the vertical to be a dangerous contested catch threat consistent in how he high-points the football. Simmons, who was a standout defender for UPrep as well, will likely be able to make a strong special teams impact for the Bulls as well.

The Rest of the Class
Tyrone Davis Tyrone Davis 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL Corcoran | 2024 State NY was one of the most athletic lineman to come out of New York in the past several years. Davis may not be the biggest OL prospect sitting under 300lbs but his movement skills are at an extremely high level. Davis plays the game with a high motor and is a nasty finisher in the run game, his combination of quickness and power lead to him being a dominant player in Section III. Davis, who played two-ways in High School will play offensive line for Buffalo and the high level coaching he will receive will be massive in his ability to transform his game and refine his fundamentals and blocking technique.
James McNeil James McNeil 6’2″ | 200 lbs | RB Bishop Timon-St. Jude | 2024 State NY , a dynamic athlete for Bishop Timon-St. Jude was one of the biggest risers in our rankings. The two-way athlete was a star RB and DB and has the ability to play on either side of the ball at the next level. The New York State Rugby Player of the Year has a powerful stride and has the burst and long speed teams covet on tape. McNeil plays the game at 110% and with his vision and instincts on both sides of the ball he has the play speed of a player who belongs at the FBS level. McNeil is a player who you could see in a couple different roles during his time in college.
Marcel Picard Marcel Picard 6’5″ | 185 lbs | WR Monroe-Woodbury | 2024 State NY oozes potential at the WR position. Picard has a 6’5 185lb frame and is a smooth long striding athlete who can make difficult catches down the field. Picard was not in an offense that threw the ball very often so opportunities at times came limited but his tape speaks for itself. Picard is still raw, and partly due to the lack of in-game targets he has. However, with that size and smooth ability as a route runner Picard is an intriguing prospect for the Bulls.
Highlights
Matthew Conlin Matthew Conlin 6’1″ | 230 lbs | LB Greenwich | 2024 State NY who is not only a 4-year starter but he is a 2-time captain who dominates the weight room. Conlin was a physical two-way performer for Greenwich was has great LB tape. Physical at the point of attack, great initial punch knocking back blockers and is a violent tackler. Conlin is a gritty player who has a clear path to playing special teams at some point in his career at the next level and shows the skillset that could expand much beyond that.
