After our first 2025 Virginia quarterbacks article was released I believe this young man responded saying we missed him, and guess what he was right. The passing leader in the Commonwealth and honorable mention all region selection Gabriel Dombek Gabriel Dombek 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Brooke Point | 2025 State VA is a name to know. Fully healthy and determined Dombek is about to turn more heads this fall as leads Brooke Point to what should be a deep playoff run. Attracting interest from Virginia Military Institute and Mercer college, the young man is an FCS level talent at the very least.

Highlights
Michael Suris Michael Suris 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Lake Braddock | 2025 State VA and the Lake Braddock Bruins should be state title contenders this year (again). Returning division 1 prospects Kai Austin and Trent Pane Trent Pane 6’1″ | 250 lbs | DL Lake Braddock Secondary | 2025 State VA certainly help, but the continued development of Suris has made a huge difference. Here is what I wrote about him after his senior season:
Lake Braddock should be a state title contender next year and Michael Suris Michael Suris 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Lake Braddock | 2025 State VA will be the one leading them there. Make no mistake while he has weapons all around him Suris can sling it with the best of them in the county and had an excellent junior season. Another dual threat quarterback who loves to stick his shoulder pads into any defender trying to take him down, this kid is tough as nails.rn
Another year in Flint Hill’s system should only do wonders for Caleb West Caleb West 6’7″ | 220 lbs | QB Flint Hill | 2025 State VA as he enters his senor year. West has all the tools to be a big time college star in both football and basketball, he may also be the tallest quarterback in the state. He has a cannon for his deep ball and is deceptively quick for his size running a sub 4.9 40 already. Last season was more of a transition for West as he just transferred cross town from Falls Church. His sophomore year for the Jaguars was no joke where he threw for 22 touchdown passes, a year under his belt in the Huskies high powered offense, I expect him to make a giant leap come fall.

I was hoping this young man would progress for his junior season and he didn’t disappoint, Saint Michael’s Nahshon Wilson Nahshon Wilson 6’2″ | 290 lbs | QB Saint Michael the Archangel | 2025 State VA is a FBS level quarterback. Wilson had a great junior year, one that has attracted the interest of major schools such as Liberty, James Madison and the University of Pittsburgh. The two time all state selector is a master of his craft at quarterback, he can throw the deep ball on the run and make plays with his feet. A true dual threat passer Wilson will surely have several FBS offers soon, expect to see him on your television set come Saturday afternoons.

Not sure what went wrong over at Wakefield last season, but quarterback Peyton Boroff Peyton Boroff 6’5″ | 210 lbs | QB Wakefield | 2025 State VA can play. Another big guy with wheels Boroff is 6’5 and can move on the run quite well. When he has time to set his feet he can also deliver a very accurate deep ball and does a great job of looking off defenders and not going to his first read. The Warriors have a chance behind Boroff to rebound this coming fall, but the key will be keeping him upright in the pocket. Easier said then done as many offensive line coaches will tell you, but if they can protect this young man better in 2024, their losing streak will be over.
