This week, Prep Redzone Scout Drew Johnson will highlight instrumental recruits who have consistently produced this season. As noted frequently, Prep Redzone Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels and readers to evaluate.
Cayden Thomas | QB | Class of 2026 | Mitchell | @CaydenThomas_
2023 stats: 2175 passing yards – 271 rushing – 27 tds.
One of the top 2026 QBs in the area had a productive season and stamped himself as a reliable leader who can help produce success for the Mitchell program. Just watched him compete at the 7v7 Elite tournament where he showed off his arm strength and leadership capabilities. He’s yet another talented QB that will be at the event.
Jaden Weatherly Jaden Weatherly 6'0" | 220 lbs | QB Bartram Trail | 2026 FL | QB | 2026 | Bartram Trail | @jadenweatherly_
It’s truly rewarding when watching a kid progress into a beast! We got a chance to watch Weatherly perform when he was just in 14U 7v7 and he’s now developed into a problem under center. One of the stronger QB frames around, this kid has a weight-lifting physique that he uses to zip the ball around and be a threat with his legs. He’s putting it all together heading into the spring period.
Anthony Gay | WR | 2026 | Seminole | @AnthonyGayIII1
Gay has been one of the better slot WR prospects that I’ve scouted during this 7v7 circuit period. He’s an electric gadget piece at 5-6, 160-pounds with a solid stout frame he uses to get past defenders. He’s playing with the rising Sanford Elite squad which will get him right heading to the spring with his new high school Seminole (Sanford, FL).
Patrick Harding | QB | 2026 | The Villages | @patrickbeballin
Fresh off a notable camp performance, Harding is showing that he’s one of the better under-the-radar QBs in the area that deserves the recognition. He’s got a decent frame at 6-3 with a natural throwing release and decent accuracy. Still time to work on his arm strength and overall body frame but keep an eye on this kid’s development.
Tyson Davison Tyson Davison 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Apopka | 2026 State FL | QB | 2026 | Apopka | @TysonDavison_
A well-known QB trainee of Baylin Trujillo, it’s about time for this kid to get some exposure. He’s an electric dual-threat QB prospect who’s been overlooked because of his size but check the film, this kid can move the needle. He’s still improving his overall throwing and footwork mechanics but has the time and determination to get it done.
Li’Darious Pryor Li’Darious Pryor 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB Evans Highschool | 2026 FL | RB | 2026 | Evans | @LidariousP
After a productive 1,000+ yard season as the third featured runner, Pryor is set for a huge off-season period heading into the spring where he could be a premier back in the area if not the state. Watch out for this kid to put up crazy numbers on the ground. A bowling ball with a physical presence and good speed to go with it.
Jaylen White | ATH | 2026 | Clearwater | @Jaylen_white1
White is listed as a QB prospect but played the WR and DB positions last week with SlimeyBoyz. He may have a future at either because of his sheer athletic ability. He’ll have a chance to show off his arm this weekend at the QB Camp Series. He accumulated nearly 2,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards during the season.
Cannan McCarthy Cannan McCarthy 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Melbourne | 2026 FL | ATH | 2026 | Melbourne | @CannanMcCarthy1
This kid is flat-out hungry to get the recognition he deserves. McCarthy dominated recently at the FBU camp where he showed off his ability to be a rising DB in the class. I’m impressed with his overall athletic ability and skills to play all over the field. A true under-the-radar prospect that will be on the radar soon enough.
