A tough, intensive cornerback with long arms and excellent ball skills, Williams showed he's a true cover corner who has a big career ahead of him at Cincinnati down the road. A multi-sport standout with natural athleticism, Williams is a sure tackler, but his ability to make plays in coverage is why he's one of the top playmaking cornerbacks across the state in the 2025 class. He has a true nose for the football, and when the ball is in the air, he's going to make a play on it. An All-State and 1st Team All Conference selection, Williams is coming off a tremendous 2023 season where he picked off seven passes and took four of them back for touchdowns. He also made 24 tackles and broke up 13 more passes in coverage. He's a big-play defender who consistently made game-changing plays for the Rabun Gap defense last year. An excellent overall athlete with tremendous burst and big-play ability, Carter brings an impressive blend of size, ball skills and versatility at 5-foot-10 175-pounds. A multi-sport standout who excels in track and field as well as on the gridiron, Carter is a football magnet with game-changing ability on both sides of the ball. In the secondary, he's shows impressive instincts who can read the quarterback. He does a good job of baiting them into bad passes, and it led to an impressive nine INTs last year, which led all players across the state in the 2025 class. The young athlete was picking off passes consistently all season long, showing easy D1-caliber potential along the way. He has strong, consistent hands, and showed why he's a true game-changer wherever he's lined up. Look for quarterbacks to stay far away from Carter in 2024.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Adian Cothern</strong> <strong>- Bacon County</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>An excellent two-way player who can make plays at both wide receiver and defensive back, Cothern is a small-town defensive back who deserves more recognition after a stellar junior season. He's not the biggest guy, but his speed and ball skills make up for his smaller frame. As a defensive back, he's a true ball-hawk who has the ability to make a play on the ball in coverage. In fact, the Bacon County standout picked off an eye-opening seven passes last year in the secondary. He closes well on the ball and shows dependable hands when plucking the ball out of the air. He knows how to cover, and if the ball is in the air, he's going to make a play on it. He's one of the more productive two-way players in the area who made 34 tackles with 13 more pass deflections in addition to his giant INT total.
