This week, Prep Redzone Scout Drew Johnson will highlight instrumental recruits who have consistently produced this season. As noted frequently, Prep Redzone Florida aims to provide adequate coverage of all athletes for college coaches At All Levels and readers to evaluate.
QB:
Ryan Huff | QB | 2025 | PCHS | @RyanHuff2025QB
2023 stats: 123/219 – 1902 yards – 13-6 TD/INT
The 6-4, 208-pound junior has one of the better frames and potential upside in the class/state. He led PCHS to an 8-2 regular season finish and has already picked up some Division I offers because of his pocket presence and ability to put throws on the money.
Chase Cromartie Chase Cromartie 6'1" | 165 lbs | QB Viera | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Viera | @CromartieChase
One of the true sleepers in the state now grew into his body and looked to have added a few inches to his frame. This kid is underrated but has some of the arm strength and quarterback IQ I’ve seen recently. I’m interested to see his work ethic pay off heading into the spring. He threw for over 2000 passing yards with 22 TDs in his junior season.
Andrew Heidel Andrew Heidel 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB Manatee | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Manatee | @AndrewHeidelQB
2023 stats: 206-318 – 2618 yards – 20-6 TD/INT
Really productive season for the 6-2, 190-pound junior who can sling it. Heidel finished with the 3rd most Single-Season yards for his high school while setting the single-game passing record in his junior season. Plenty of upside for the junior with time to work on his game during the off-season.
Ethan Drumm Ethan Drumm 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Jacksonville Bolles | 2025 FL | QB | 2025 | Bolles | @EthanDrumm
This kid is one of the better QBs in the North Florida area that hasn’t gotten the deserved attention. Next year will be his time to shine and help lead a truly solid Bolles program deep into the postseason. The 6’2, 200-pound rising junior has plenty of time this off-season to work with his teammates and create chemistry heading into spring.
WR:
Semaj Fleming Semaj Fleming 5'10" | 175 lbs | WR Orlando Edgewater | 2025 State FL | ATH | 2025 | Edgewater | @FlemingSemaj
2023 stats: 77 rushes – 631 yards – 11 TD | 23 receptions – 467 yards – 3 TD
Really productive season for the junior athlete who shared reps but will be one of the main attractions of this high-powered Edgewater next season. Look out for this name to pop during the spring period or at college camps. He’s already showcased his speed and versatility in the early period.
Ryan Matulevich Ryan Matulevich 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Venice | 2025 State FL | WR | 2025 | Venice | @MatulevichB
2023 stats: 40 receptions | 652 yards | 6 TD
Not sure how Matulevich continues to be slept on but he’s a sure-handed slot receiver who helped Venice get a shot at the state championship title for consecutive seasons. Really impressed with his ability to complete a short route and make things happen after the catch. Still time to continue working on his game and frame to attract some college offers.
Makih Johnson | WR | 2025 | CAI | @Makihjohnson2
Each time I get eyes on Johnson he continues to flash his advanced route running and soft hands. He has good speed for his 6’2, 190-pound frame and has shown his reliability to bring down catches consistently. He will be another riser WR in the 2025 class who should bring in some offers when he touches down at colleges this offseason.
Gavin Jenkins Gavin Jenkins 6'2" | 170 lbs | DB Lake Butler Union CVointy | 2025 State FL | DB | 2025 | Lake Butler Union | @3wayyG
2023 stats: 27 receptions – 490 yards – 6 TD
6-2 wide receiver and defensive back with solid hands and ballhawk skills. Jenkins is a lengthy prospect who can use his arms in man coverage and WR IQ in man coverage to create takeaways. With that said, he put in good work at the receiver position this season.
DB:
Jaysean Pritchard Jaysean Pritchard 5'11" | 180 lbs | ATH Auburndale | 2025 FL | ATH | 2025 | Auburndale | @D1Jaysean
2023 stats: 108 rushes – 846 yards – 9 TD | 31 receptions – 429 yards – 3 TD – 1 INT
I keep telling everyone in reach that this kid must-watch football. College coaches who need a versatile athlete who can impact both sides of the ball, Pritchard is that riser you need to get in touch with. He’ll pop on college radars this off-season and more with in-game film evaluation.
Sammy Etienne | ATH | 2025 | Auburndale | @TheRealestSam32023 stats: 59 total tackles – 1 INT
