We got a chance to attend Dalyn Ellison’s signing as he has chose to play at the University of Utah as a PWO. The 6’3 physical prospect is strong up front and has a motor that can’t be taught, so he’ll fit right in with this defensive line unit. He was supported by his family, friends and coaches who all attended his event and gave him words of encouragement as he starts his new chapter. Ellison also gave us names of prospects that college coaches should stop sleeping on and take notice.
Kaden Hansen: WR || 6’0 || 170lbs || Herriman HS || c/o 2024
Hensen is an athletic prospect with run down speed and hands to play the position. Has a knack for the ball, can get the ball out the air and make a play. Separation at the top of the route. Determined runner after the catch to fight for more yards. Hansen’s production has earned him All State honors and recruitment is still open.
Issac Larson: HB || 5’7 || 168lbs || Herriman HS || c/o 2026
Larson is an athletic prospect with good movement at the snap. Can bend the corner and accelerate on counters and toss plays. An elusive runner to avoid tacklers in the open field. Willingness as a blocker. Larson’s production will earn him more snaps next season as an experienced varsity junior.
Brock Hammon: OL || 6’2 || 255lbs || Bingham HS || c/o 2025
Hammon is a physical prospect with good movement on the ball. Shows explosion as a run blocker with strength and leg drive. Ability to trap and fold. Run block on the move to make open field blocks. In pass protection, he can set his base, give initial contact and sustain feet. Hammon should be on the recruiting radar as one of top prospects in the 6A class.
Holden McKell: DB || 6’3 || 180lbs || Herriman HS || c/o 2024
McKell is an athletic prospect that plays the Free Safety position in the Mustang’s defense. Has a knack for the ball, can get the ball in the air and make a play. Good tackler in run support. Has experience playing special teams. Mckell is an under the radar prospect with his recruitment still open. Can play safety in a zone coverage scheme.
