Thornton is a 6’4, 290 lbs offensive linemen out of Peoria. He displays tremendous athleticism and versatility as an anchor on Peoria’s offensive line. Lining up at tackle and both guard spots, Thornton is dangerous on the move. His athleticism when pulling or working out to the open field in the screen game is next level. While he has the frame to project as a Division I prospect, Thornton plays with low pad level and seeks out work at the second level. Long story short, this rising star in the Class of 2025 will light up anyone who gets in his way.
Highlights
Fort is a big and physical offensive linemen out of Rockford Jefferson. The 6’5, 295 lbs tackle had quite the junior season after impressing throughout his sophomore year. Fort boasts a great frame and impresses when pulling. He is athletic enough to fire off the ball and has the size and strength to drive defensive linemen backwards at the snap. As he continues to polish his technique and add strength in the weight room, Fort is a hidden gem who is ready for a monster senior campaign.
Vanboening is a dominant interior offensive linemen who burst onto the scene in his junior campaign. The 6’3, 260 lbs guard / center out of Libertyville has all the intangibles of a big-time offensive line recruit. He fires off the ball, has a strong lower half, and plays with a nastiness that allows him to finish most plays with a pancake. Vanboening is also incredible athletic, as he can smoothly work to the second level and seal linebackers in space. Vanboening is certainly athletic enough to play all 5 spots on the offensive line. As he continues to gain weight, keep an eye on Vanboening as he heads into his senior year.
Stec is one of the more underrated offensive linemen in the Class of 2025. The 6’2, 270 lbs left tackle out of Nazareth is as good in the run game as he is in pass protection. Stec is a nasty and physical offensive linemen, who runs through defenders when pulling and always looks for extra work in the pass game. He plays with a strong base and delivers a powerful punch that knocks defenders backwards at the point of contact. As he heads into his senior year, Stec will soon fly up recruiting boards across the country.
Benson is a 6’4, 300 lbs offensive linemen out of Hononegah who had an impressive junior year. The powerful guard has all the measurables of an elite offensive line prospect. He boasts a big frame, long arms, and possesses the athleticism to handle anything thrown his way. When pulling, Benson moves swiftly to create opening rushing lanes. When down blocking, he can combo shades and work up to the second level. In pass protection, Benson has the strength and technique to handles both speed and bull rushes and always looks for extra work when unoccupied. This do-it-all guard in Benson is poised for a dominant senior year.
