The class of 2025 looks to be really talented with prospects for every level of football. Check out five under the radar quarterback prospects that have the talent to gather a lot of attention heading into their senior year.
Brodie Savage Brodie Savage 6’3″ | 155 lbs | QB Captain Shreve | 2025 State LA is the quarterback for Capt. Shreve and shows an immense amount of talent. As a quarterback Brodie has good arm strength to make throws to all levels of the field. Brodie is a good athlete that can escape pressure in the pocket and make accurate throws on the run. Building on his junior year Savage should be one of the best quarterback prospects in the 2025 class.
Horne listed at 6’2 195 pounds doesn’t hold any offers yet but I fully expect that to change especially as in state schools look to lock down in state talent. Horne is a surprising athlete that can keep RPO’s and convert them into big plays on the high school level. Horne has also showcased an ability to make throws form the pocket. Horne is a signal caller that everyone should be aware of as he checks all of the boxes for what collegiate programs look for in a high school prospect.

Joshua Brantley Joshua Brantley 6’4″ | 200 lbs | ATH Ruston | 2025 State LA is a duel threat quarterback who has offers from a host of Group of 5 schools. Brantley at 6’3 200 pounds is a dominant runner being able to take QB designed runs the distance. Brantley can also throw the football with good down the field accuracy. Brantley is a player whose size and skillset is setting the stage for him to elevate himself to a nationally recognized QB prospect.
Ben Taylor Ben Taylor 6’1″ | 185 lbs | QB Airline | 2025 State LA finished the 2023 season leading the state in passing yardage. Taylor is the captain of an high powered offense. Taylor is a pocket passing quarterback that can push the ball vertically down the field. Taylor throws an accurate deep ball and consistently hits receivers in stride. Although Taylor is a pocket passer he understands how to escape the pocket and keep his eyes down field to make a off script play.

Abram Wardell Abram Wardell 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Calvary Baptist | 2025 State LA is a state championship winning quarterback and a flat out gamer. Wardell has proven to be a clutch performer and a playmaker. On film Wardell has plus level arm strength being able to push the ball down the field with ease. He has the arm talent to work all three levels of the field. Wardell also appears to be a good athlete being able to pick up yards with his legs also. Wardell is one of Louisiana’s best kept secrets and a camp circuit this year should put him on the national level.
