Continue ReadingGayten is 6’6″ tall and 225 lbs. Gayten is the type of player that just pops off the screen when you are watching film on him. He has all the intangibles that a player needs to make it to the next level. He is quick, strong and powerful. He plays the game with such intensity on the defensive side of the ball making the opposing offense always have to account for him. I look for him to a special season in 2024.
John Austin Sterling
John Austin Sterling
Sterling is 6’3″ tall and 185 lbs. In Sterling’s sophomore year he helped take the Centerville offense to a completely different level. He runs clean crisps routes that makes it difficult for the opposing defender to get into a good position to make a play on the ball. He can break down a defense which allows him to become his quarterback’s best friend on the field. In 2023, He had 58 receptions for 1,120 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Butts is 6’1″ tall and 210 lbs. Butts is the type of linebacker that can play either in the middle or the outside. Simply put he is a PLAYMAKER. He is a machine on the field. Butts leads by example. He is strong, powerful and aggressive. Once he gets his hands on the ball carrier you might as well shut it down and get ready for the next play. He takes good angles to the ball and has relentless pursuit to the football. I look for a big season out of Butts in 2024.
Highlights
Trae Stevenson
Trae Stevenson
Stevenson is 6’0″ tall and 172 lbs. Stevenson is an all-around athlete that just makes plays no matter where he is on the field. He has good strong hands and attacks the ball when it is in the air. He makes it look easy and effortless on the field. He is deadly in the open field. He plays smart and seems to know what the opposing defense is always trying to do. Stevenson is poised to have a solid Senior season.
Mince Minor
Mince Minor
Minor is 5’10” tall and 160 lbs. Minor should go ahead and change his name to blanket because when he is in coverage, he blankets the opposing receiver. Minor is a in your face type of defensive back that likes to press and put pressure on the receiver to get off the line of scrimmage. He is a lockdown type of defender that is also very good at defending the run. He will step up and pop the ball carrier and not think twice about it.
