We have new prospects that have had no trouble opening eyes across the state. In this article, we are going to highlight some of the new prospects that have entered the prospect rankings.
Hakim Frampton-Athlete-Joe T. Robinson-5’11” 160-Pounds
Hakim Frampton recently transferred to Robinson from California, and he has already opened plenty of eyes. Frampton is an athlete that has tremendous versatility on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, he is a player that can handle any of the skill position spots. He is dangerous with the ball in his hands. Meanwhile, in the secondary he is a nightmare for opposing wide receivers to contend with. Frampton does a great job of making plays on the ball while it is in the air. He has earned scholarship offers from Auburn and Utah. He is a player to watch out for over the next few years.
Jaxon Rawls Jaxon Rawls 6'6" | 225 lbs | TE Monticello | 2027 State AR -Tight End-Monticello-6’6” 225-Pounds
The Monticello tight end is a prospect that can hurt opposing teams on both sides of the ball. He does an impressive job of using his size and athletic ability to high point the football. Rawls does a good job of running consistent routes. He has the speed needed to create separation from opposing defenders. Opposing defenses have a difficult time attempting to match up a safety or linebacker against him. Rawls had a good showing at the Prep Redzone Arkansas Stock Up Showcase last week. He is a prospect to keep an eye out for over the next couple of seasons.
Mario Turner Mario Turner 5'5" | 150 lbs | LB North Little Rock | 2027 State AR -North Little Rock-5’5” 190-Pounds
Mario Turner Mario Turner 5'5" | 150 lbs | LB North Little Rock | 2027 State AR does an excellent job of using his quickness to drop back into pass coverage. He is a linebacker that reads the play and tracks where the play is going. Turner uses his quickness to get off of blocks and haul down the ball carrier. He does a good job of plugging up the rushing lanes and getting to the ball carrier. Turner is a player that is going to continue to get better and I look forward to seeing what the 2024 season has in store for the talented linebacker.
Bryce Smith Bryce Smith 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL Batesville | 2027 State AR -Offensive Line-Batesville-6’4” 280-Pounds
Bryce Smith Bryce Smith 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL Batesville | 2027 State AR is a versatile offensive lineman that can play all over the offensive front for Batesville. Smith is a powerful run blocker that looks to finish every block in strong fashion. He plays with a chip on his shoulder. Meanwhile, from a pass blocking perspective, he has the speed to keep opposing pass rushers at bay. Smith has no trouble mixing his power and speed. He is a player to watch out for over the next few seasons for Batesville.
Davion Dendy Davion Dendy 5'9" | 160 lbs | LB Little Rock Parkview | 2027 AR -Linebacker-Little Rock Parkview-5’9” 155-Pounds
Dendy is another versatile player that Little Rock Parkview is becoming famous for producing. Dendy sees playing time all over the field for the Patriots. He does an impressive job of reading the playing and proceeds to disrupt the play. Dendy is able to drop back into pass coverage and plays the ball well in the air. The Parkview prospect is a player that I expect to continue to perform well and open plenty of eyes in the process.
