<p>We continue our breakdown of the position groups across the state in the 2025 class. The film we are now evaluating is the wide receiver group from all over Illinois! Today we examine <strong>2025 Film Room: Western Suburbs Wide Receivers Pt 2</strong>!</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='833302' first='Nick' last='Manzardo'] (Naperville North – 6'2” 180)</strong></p>

<p>Manzardo is a 6'2" receiver with excellent hands. Wins on a ton of contested catch situations. Gets off the line well and is smooth getting in and out of cuts. Overall is very graceful with his route running. With his size and physicality he also likes to get after it blocking downfield helping others make plays.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='480380' first='Chris' last='Renford'] (Glenbard East – 5'10” 155)</strong></p>

<p>This past season Renford recorded 27 catches for 432 yards and 7 touchdowns. He has breakaway speed down the field. Explodes after the catch for TDs and is a home run threat. Quickness off the line and has good hands. Adjusts well to the ball in the air and is a vertical threat with his speed. Shows quickness on shorter routes.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='299455' first='Tyler' last='Stamatis'] (Oswego East – 5'9” 150)</strong></p>

<p>Stamatis is a 5'9" offensive weapon that can line up in the slot, out wide, or in the backfield. Small guy that is super-fast and can be used on gadget type plays. Has some third down pass catching back potential as well. Lot of short routes using quickness with vertical flashes.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='358308' first='Carter' last='York'] (Sycamore – 6'0” 180)</strong></p>

<p>York is a good deep threat. Tracks the ball well in the air and is a glider. Not a blazer but gets past defenders and scores. High points the ball in the end zone. Good on out routes. Catches ball with strong hands.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='831098' first='Jeremiah' last='Cain'] (Oswego – 6'2” 165)</strong></p>

<p>Good athlete with size. Smooth route runner that snatches the ball and is slick on crossing routes. One handed catches on the regular. High points catches in the endzone and is a major redzone threat. Wins in contested situations at a good clip. Hesitation and gets past man on deep routes while tracking the ball and adjusting on deep throws.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='331560' first='Deshaun' last='Williams'] (Wheaton St. Francis – 6'2” 205)</strong></p>

<p>Williams this past season had 729 all-purpose yards along with 3 touchdowns. Good size and runs well for how big he is. Long strider that runs with power especially after the catch. At times he can line up and play running back as they handed him the ball some.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='819671' first='Isaiah' last='Mason'] (Montini – 6'1” 197)</strong></p>

<p>Mason is a thick bodied WR that has good size. He is definitely willing and at his best going over the middle for catches for first downs. Physical receiver with good hands in traffic.</p>

<p><strong>Casey Carlson (Addison Trail – 6'0” 160)</strong></p>

<p>Carlson is a solid kick returner that had several he took to the house. As a wide out he is tough going over the middle making grabs in traffic. Can also high point in the endzone.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1292743' first='Josiah' last='James'] (Montini – 6'0” 178)</strong></p>

<p>Strong bodied slot guy that is very adept at running over the middle and willing to take the hit. He is creative with the ball running in the open floor after the catch. Can also line up some as a running back with his strong and compact build.</p>
