Colin Bellomy Colin Bellomy 6'4" | 210 lbs | DL Harrison | 2025 GA – EDGE – Harrison
A big, bruising defender to know in Cobb County, Bellomy is coming off an impressive junior season for the Hoyas where he made 74 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 16 TFLs, and 14 more QB pressures. He’s a max-effort defender who gives it everything he has on every play. He’s built well physically at 6-foot-6 220-pounds and does a good job of using his size to his advantage. His quickness off the snap is easy to notice, and he does a nice job of using his length to shed tackles before chasing after the ball carrier. He was a force all season long and really tough to stop. He consistently found his way into the backfield, and whether it was against the run or against the pass, Bellomy made an impact. He flashed Power Five talent all season long and recently added offers from South Florida, SMU, James Madison, Liberty, Georgia State, among others. He’s a defender on the rise to know about in 2024.
Mason Mcknight – DB – McNight
A new junior defensive back to know out of Newnan, Mcknight is a playmaking cover corner who closes well and shows great instincts in coverage. One of the better athletes on the team, this under-the-radar cornerback is starting to see his recruitment pick up with recent offers from Georgia Southern and South Florida. He’s dependable in coverage, but his ability to help stop the run and deliver sound hits on the ball carrier stands out. He can read plays before they happen and he knows how to strike the ball-carrier with some force. He covers a lot of ground, and he has no problem being physical. His potential is easy to see, and it’s clear he’s a prospect who could see more offers come his way down the road.
Kaleb Lanier – Decatur
A multi-sport start and an impressive overall athlete who can impact both sides of the ball, Lanier is a playmaking defender in the secondary with impressive ball skills and natural instincts. He’s fundamentally strong in coverage and shows quick, balanced feet on the perimeter. He doesn’t let receivers get behind him, and when the ball is in the air, he knows how to leap up and grab it. As a receiver on offense, Lanier caught 16 passes for 245 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, the 6-foot-0 170-pounder made 25 total tackles and two INTs. He can run, tackle, catch, and make big plays. After a standout junior season, Lanier has started to see his recruitment pick up, adding recent offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Central Florida, Louisville, Duke, and Indiana, among others. He’s a junior on the rise who is bound for a massive senior season for the Bulldogs in 2024.
