Wichita Area ’25 Rankings – Ark Valley Chisholm Trail – Div 3

This initial series will focus on the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail, with separate reports for each of the four divisions. This report will target the 2025 talent in Division 3 (4A) . Already posted: Division 4 (1/11/24). Following daily will be players in Division 2 (5A); and Division 1 (5A-6A). Combined, the league boasts 46 total players from 18 teams who will be covered in this series.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>The featured players for this overview are listed below:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>McPherson (2 Players Total)</strong>:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='281968' first='Carlos' last='German']</strong>, 5'9, 175, RB, McPherson - is working his way up the list, currently sitting at #118. The elusive running back/kick returner is coming off a season where he was 2nd-Team All-Conference. Additionally, he accumulated 361 total yards running and receiving and scored a pair of touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1114827' first='Shawn' last='Nutt']</strong>, 5'11, 195, OL/DL, McPherson - secured the #224 spot in the rankings for his play this past year. The junior has a nose for the ball from his defensive tackle position and excelled on the offensive line, garnering 1st-Team All-Conference honors. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Mulvane (2 Players Total):</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='866496' first='Fisher' last='Dye']</strong>, 5'8, 165, RB, Mulvane - continues to move up the rankings, currently listed at #117. He is coming off an excellent junior campaign where he was both all-conference and Honorable Mention All-State running back in 4A. For the year he piled up 523 total yards and scored six touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Aiden Heckathorne</strong>, 6'1, 190, QB - entered the 2025 rankings at #148 while a member of Mulvane's football team. He has since transferred to Derby for his senior season. The talented two-way player earned all-conference honors on both sides of the ball as a WR and cornerback on defense. He rushed and received for 482 yards and scored six touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Will Hanen</strong>, 5'10, 165, LB - is listed at #269 as a light's out linebacker who notched 38 total tackles and had a fumble recovery on defense. The multi-talented athlete earned all-conference honors as both a ball-hawk at defensive back and as a kicking specialist. He is coming off a shortened season where he was still able to pile up 968 total yards and seven touchdowns in only six games.
