A new addition to the PA 2026 rankings and upcoming stock riser Caden Matthews Caden Matthews 5’11” | 175 lbs | QB Southmoreland | 2026 State PA can sling it! The junior to be has a good arm watching him drop a couple of deep balls in his film that was very impressive. Curious to see how he performs tomorrow with the enormous crop of receivers in attendance, really liking his upside. Plays the game with much physicality he also shined at safety this past fall for Southmoreland High school. I would like to see him work with both the quarterbacks and secondary group as he has a ton of potential on both sides of the ball. No matter what he ends up doing the future is bright for this young man.

The All state selection from Ridley linebacker Connor Kelly Connor Kelly 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB Ridley | 2025 State PA is listed as attending and I sure hope he shows up because he is a beast! Looking forward to see how he matches up in the one on one drills with all the outstanding running backs he could be facing. On tape the team defensive mvp sure shows his coverage range along with fierce closing speed on every tackle. Another student of the game, Kelly has a 3.2 GPA and has good size that with a good performance tomorrow should start to attract colleges attention.

Oh boy one of the top running backs in the state South Park’s Eric Doerue Eric Doerue 6’0″ | 205 lbs | RB South Park | 2025 State PA should be there and the FBS prospect can play. If you follow my co-worker Avery Hawkins work you know this young man is legit, here is what Avery had to say about him last September:
Doerue has shown a lot of physicality on the field this season. He has speed and balance and effortlessly breaks tackles when rushing the ball. Eric’s such a punishing runner that he sometimes seeks out contact when he has the option to blow by the defender. He uses his blocks well, showcasing vision and elusiveness. Right now, Doerue is averaging 9.1 yards a carry, gashing defenses inside or outside of the tackles. Eric has also displayed next level open field tackling on defense thus far.rn
Our showcases have coaches from across the country and they will be tuning in to see how Doerue performs.
Gavin Bell
Gavin Bell
Holidaysburg rising senior Gavin Bell is an intriguing receiver/safety I think can really shine tomorrow. He is a big lanky receiver at 6’2, he has solid speed but his physicality are what really stands out. He shows no fear going over the middle for a big catch and is very superb route runner which should work to his advantage during the 1 on 1 drills. One of the main reasons I love covering showcases is that it gives perhaps lesser known kids a chance to get their name out there. This young man can be a perfect example on why these events are very helpful towards kids futures.
Mosley had a great junior season for Roman Catholic and I agree with what colleague Dylan Callaghan-Croley said about him in the preseason below:
Already holding an offer from Boston College, Mosley alongside Felder creates a dangerous and dynamic duo with Felder Jr. He plays bigger than his 5-foot-7 size thanks to his athleticism while also showing strong ball skills. As he continues to grow, only more offers will pour in for the Roman Catholic standout.rnI whole heartedly agree that the young man plays like he is 6’7 not 5’7, he will take on anyone from his defensive back spot. I cannot say for sure if his offers have grown from last year, but with a standout performance tomorrow I can assure you they will.
