Texas Unsigned 2024 Prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Texas has a lot of talent. I am sure there are guys there that can use a home. Today, I want to check out some guys that are unsigned. Here are a few.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ryan Gillam</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gillam is a 6-foot, 225-pound linebacker back Porter HS. I love his aggressive style of play. I also love how he makes sure that he sheds blocks and makes tackles. Gillam is a dog that knows how to get around on the field on defense. He also knows how to cover a large area in zone coverage. He looks like he moves pretty well. I was very impressed when he was dropping to the deep curl and came down to make a tackle on a receiver running a short crossing route. Kid is nice. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1689410' first='Christian' last='Watts']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Watts plays with a very high motor. He is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound edge player that I think could also be an outside linebacker. Watts does a great job of getting off if the line. He does a great job of getting sacks. His film showed me that he does have strength. He was also a 100 meter district championship. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jordan Green</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Green is a running back from Crowley that does a great job of keeping his balance between tackles. I think that he has great vision. I also think that Green has some decent speed. Green looks like he can make it at running back on the next level. I think that he is going to need to gain some weight. He is guy that I will be keeping up with. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ja'Morris Sayles </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I am very glad I ran across his film. This young man is dangerous. I think that he has what it takes to be a shut down corner on the next level. It seems like there is always a good cornerback that knows how to return kicks and punts. Sayles is one of those guys. This young man is very elusive. I think that he has great hips in coverage. He has great ball skills so that helps him when he is playing man to man coverage. He knows how to get his head around. He also does not mind coming up to make tackles. Young man is a dog.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
