Continue ReadingOne of my favorite players to watch this past season Loudoun Valley’s Cole Kielhorn Cole Kielhorn 6’0″ | 185 lbs | ATH Loudoun Valley | 2024 VA . We have talked at nauseum about him before and now his recognition is finally getting notice. He just received his second division 1 offer from Stonehill college this past week and I think more FBS offers are coming. He can play receiver, corner, safety and best believe he will make plays on special teams too, I can assure you of that.

Highlights
Maury’s beat of a defensive end and arguably the number 1 recruit out of VA for 2025 Ariewd Watford Ariewd Watford 6’5″ | 210 lbs | DL Salem-VB | 2025 VA just listed his top 6 schools. Among them are Ohio State, Penn State, Clemson, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and South Carolina, pretty impressive list. Many experts have projected Clemson and Penn State as the favorites to land him, but I would not be so sure. College recruiting is changing on the fly and every day there seems to be a new trend. Watford is one of best prospects in the country for 2025 he has no need to rush his decision.
Shomari McGhee
Shomari McGhee
West Potomac athlete Shomari McGhee nearly carried the Wolverines into the post-season by himself last fall. Rushing for over 1,000 yards on his senior campaign with 6 touchdowns capped off a nice career for McGhee. His efforts are not being ignored as many division 3 schools are clamoring for his enrollment. He just received an opportunity from Bethany College to play their next fall and that will not be the last.

Alexander Labenow
Alexander Labenow
Gar-Field’s 4 star long snapper recruiting is starting to pick up as he had a visit to Wilkes University over the weekend. The young man has and will continue to grind towards his craft, just needs an opportunity.

Walter Hughes
Walter Hughes
The four year starter and two time state champion Walter Hughes has been busy since he clinched his last title. He had originally announced a commitment to Wright State but re-opened his visit not too long after. Since then he has been offered by a number of division 2 and fcs schools, including the one from West Virginia State over the weekend. If you need a calming presence in the middle of your offensive line he is your guy, just ask his teammates. Hughes is an FCS level talent if not higher, expect more schools to come calling for one of the best remaining uncommitted 2024 prospects.rn
