From athletes to coaches, prospects came to learn and compete against some quality talent.
Broken down by positions, there was talent in every direction – and as parents came out to support, there was so much going on.
The one position that stole the show ended up being the receivers and tight ends who came to put themselves on the map, and they all did just that.
For Class of 2024 senior Decedric Stokes Decedric Stokes 5'11" | 175 lbs | WR Davie Western | 2024 FL (5-9, 141, Davie Western), this was an event to come out and give it another shot to put himself on the radar screen.
From Sunrise Piper High School to Western this past season, this is someone who has always had the talent, but never fully had the chance to display all his abilities.
During Sunday’s showcase his future may have changed as he turned things up a few notches and was named as MVP for the receivers.
While Stokes watch his stock rise, so did recent Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas 2025 senior Logan Andrews Logan Andrews 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons | 2025 FL , who came from Cardinal Gibbons with the hopes of getting that recognition that was needed to grab the college and university’s attention.
Coming from a family where everyone was a standout athlete, the 6-3, 195 -pounder started the off season with an impressive performance.
The receiver position was indeed a place that grabbed the attention during one-on-ones – with prospects such as Sanford Seminole’s Frank Hicks Frank Hicks 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR Sanford Seminole | 2025 FL (6-1, 165), Ian Goines Ian Goines 5'11" Lakeland Christian | 2025 FL (6-0, 155, Lakeland Christian), Greg McKinnond Jr Greg McKinnond Jr 5'9" Lake Minneola | 2025 FL . (5-9, 175), and Miami Gardens Monsignor Pace 6-1, 175-pounder Amare Whetsell Amare Whetsell 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Miami Gardens Monsignor Pace | 2025 FL also turning heads in the 2025 class.
The tight ends also made an impression with Franklyn Johnson Jr Franklyn Johnson Jr 6'1" Charles W. Flanagan | 2025 FL . (DE/LS, 6-1, 220, Pembroke Pines Flanagan) and two-way (DE) standout Aidan Sutherland (6-3, 220, Wesley Chapel Cypress Creek).
Class of 2026 athletes also stepped up and were recognized like versatile (WR/QB/DB) Damani Downs Damani Downs 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Miami Norland | 2026 FL , a 6-2, 170-pounder from Miami Gardens Monsignor Pace, Anthony Gay III Anthony Gay III 5'6" | 160 lbs | WR Sanford Seminole | 2026 FL (Athlete, 5-6, 160, Sanford Seminole), Jake Gomulinski Jake Gomulinski 5'8" | 160 lbs | WR Cooper City | 2026 FL (WR, 5-9, 160, Cooper City), and Merrick Todich (Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons).
The strength of the underclassmen was evident with Jamaal Elliott (CB/WR, Davie Western), and Keston Todich (Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons), and Class of 2028 rising star Ahmaud Roberts (CB/WR, Miami Gardens Chiefs).
