Spencer is a elite athlete that can play multiple positions on the field on both sides of the ball. During his Senior season, he showed that he can play on the defensive backend and play a true middle of the field safety, or offensively line up as a receiver or in the backfield and take direct snaps. He is a very well put together kid that runs hard behind his pads and is extremely difficult to take down in the open field due to his leg drive, contact balance and short area quickness laterally. Spencer is a big yards after catch guy with a nose for getting the tough yards and can easily break one on one tackles and make big plays out of nothing. He is a First Team All-State kid that is a no brainer college caliber player.
The Senior was one of the top players for the 4A State Champs in 2023, and is very deserving to enter into our rankings in this final update. He was one of the states most productive receivers and provides position versatility with the abilities to line up inside, outside or in the backfield at either running back or quarterback. He is a very explosive athlete with third level speed in the clear, and shows good foot speed, short area twitch and the ability to make defenders miss in tight windows. A natural tracker downfield with good adjustments to the ball in the air, he is a next level kid in the slot that can make an impact at the D3+ level.
Stimpson exploded onto the scene during his Senior season, and is rated as a two-star receiver per 247-Sports and is a no brainer to enter into our ranks this time around. He holds offers from La Verne and Pacific University, and has some upside at the next level due to his natural size and length. He can run a variety of different routes, stretches the field vertically and can box out and haul in contested balls downfield while a big time threat in the red-zone. He is a kid that should make a positive impact early at the D3+ level and was one of the regions breakout prospects this Fall.
Bowie enters into our rankings as a two-sport kid with football and basketball, and he is currently committed to Boise State to play basketball. He has elite size and length for the outside receiver position and has been one of the best two-sport kids across Idaho for the past few seasons. Able to play both football or basketball at the next level, his prep career efforts and collegiate upside enter him into our final 2024 rankings.
