On Sunday at Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase did not disappoint. With several quarterbacks on hand – many elite – the event was turned up a few notches as Keiser University coach Myles Notkin guided one of the most impressive group of passers that you can have at an event like this.
While Sanford Seminole Class of 2026 standout Joel Morris Joel Morris 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Riverview Sumner | 2026 FL (6-5, 195) was awarded as the event MVP at the position, that honor could have gone to several others who put on a show.
“This was a great group,” Notkin said. “To watch them all, make so many quality throws really made this event special.”
From testing to drills to the actual competition, this group of quarterbacks kept everyone’s attention throughout the three-hour showcase.
Among the Class of 2025 prospects who came out included the impressive and highly recruited trio of Niko Boyce (5-11, 190, Naples Barron Collier), Bjorn Jurgensen Bjorn Jurgensen 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Bishop Moore Catholic | 2025 State FL (6-3, 185, Orlando Bishop Moore) and recent Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons transfer Preston Wright Preston Wright 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons | 2025 State FL (6-1, 200), who participated in the 1S state championship at Ocala Trinity Catholic.
In addition, Brady Nash (5-11, 180) made his way down from Islip, New York, Jack Pavlik (5-10, 185, Interlachen), and Talyn Poole Talyn Poole 6'3" Central | 2025 FL (6-3, 225, Brooksville Central).
With Clayton leading the way, the rising junior Class of 2026 was also stacked with talent. Among those gifted players included recent Plantation student/athlete transfer Jayden Chico Jayden Chico 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB Plantation | 2026 FL (6-1, 195), Damani Downs Damani Downs 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Monsignor Pace | 2026 FL (6-2, 170, Miami Gardens Monsignor Pace), Logan Flaherty Logan Flaherty 6'3" | 180 lbs | QB Port Charlotte | 2027 FL (6-3, 175, Port Charlotte), Alek Jurado (5-11, 190, Miami Belen Jesuit), Nate Silvestre Nate Silvestre 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB West Broward | 2026 FL (Pembroke Pines West Broward), and Arcadia DeSoto’s Rylan Unruh Rylan Unruh 5'9" | 160 lbs | DB DeSoto County | 2026 FL (5-9, 160).
THE FUTURE IS INDEED BRIGHT
While the Class of 2025 and 2026 prospects were doing their thing, the rising sophomores in the Class of 2027 were busy with Joseph Allen Joseph Allen 6'1" | 200 lbs | QB Melbourne Central Catholic | 2027 FL (6-1, 200, Melbourne Central Catholic), Jaidan Delaune Jaidan Delaune 6'1" Riverside | 2027 FL (6-2, 165, Jacksonville Riverside), Mason Hall (6-0, 165, Coral Springs Coral Glades), and standout Jack Spaeder Jack Spaeder 6'2" | 170 lbs | QB American | 2027 FL (6-2, 180, Coconut Creek Monarch) were also turning heads.
