-Region Iron Man winner in 2023
-HM All State LB
-Gets after it in the weight room (SQ 470 B 300 PC 280) and in the classroom (4.0GPA)
-Recorded 109TT in ’23 and add 500+ yds and 6 TDs from the RB spot. Rarely leaves the field on Friday night.
Heath is a strong kid with a compact build that explodes off the ball fast. Has the speed at RB to take it to the house if he gets by you. Great vision at the LB spot and covers ground quickly and delivers a decisive blow. Plays in a great program at Heard Co that has a tradition of coaching talent. We wouldn’t be surprised to see his name on some All State lists over the next 2 years.

Sam Ross Sam Ross 5'8" | 170 lbs | LB GA
– 1st Team All Region QB in ’23
-2nd Team All Region DB in ’22 as a freshman
-Multisport that is outstanding on the diamond as well.
-PC 270 SQ 420
Ross is a tough, athletic kid. He moved to the QB position this past Fall after playing primarily at SS for the Dragons his Freshman season and earning All Region accolades at that spot. Passed for over 1000 yds this season. Elusive in the backfield and is able to keep plays alive with his feet. Deceptively fast and is always a threat to turn it up field. He has a strong arm that zips the short passes but can also add a nice touch when getting the ball over DBs. Aggressive at safety, covers well and is not afraid of contact.
Dominic Nicolosi
Dominic Nicolosi
– 1st Team All Region OL in 4A D1
– Good size at 6’4 285
– Recruit Georgia HM All State
– Was OL MVP at the NUC All American Game in Dec
Nicolosi is a guy we noticed in the Preseason as a guy that could have a breakout Soph season, he didn’t disappoint. He gets out of his stance quick and has no problem blocking guys at the 2nd level. He looks like he has toned up since we reviewed him in the Preseason, not surprising knowing how much pride the Temple Tigers and Coach Nix take in strength and conditioning. High ceiling for this fella with 2 more years left to develop.
Benji Michmerhuizen
Benji Michmerhuizen
-1st Team All Region TE
-6’4 190 with room to grow
This is a guy we saw last year in the Preseason and walked away impressed. Great build at 6’4 190, slim with plenty of room to add good weight. Good hands and is an outstanding downfield target for All Region QB Carter Triplett. Aggressive blocker in the run game who doesn’t mind mixing it up. We look forward to seeing more film on this guy this season but based on what we saw last year he will have an outstanding career with the Lions.
