Schorrard Murray | Chastain Middle School | QB
Murray is 5’6″ tall and 145 lbs. You thought correctly if you thought of Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray when you saw this name. Schorrard was considered the best QB in the Metro Middle School league despite a more diminutive stature. He was also the fastest combined player with a 4.65 40-yard dash. Schorrard should develop to be one of the best duel-threat QBs in the State.
Trenton White | Chastain Middle School | WR/DB
White is 6’1″ tall and 150 lbs. Trenton white is a tall receiver who has a knack for going up and getting the football. Trenton showed remarkable body control at the combine, making mid-air adjustments to poorly thrown balls. He Uses body positioning effectively to shield defenders and win contested catches. We will see Trenton dominate on the next level in the next few years.
Jamorie Dennis Jamorie Dennis 5'7" | 155 lbs | DB MS | Kirksey Middle School | WR/DB
Dennis is 5’5″ tall and 130 lbs. Jamorie Dennis Jamorie Dennis 5'7" | 155 lbs | DB MS was the most explosive WR/DB at the combine. Dennis received the most votes for player nominations, as every coach from the North Division recognized him as an All-Star. Dennis has a very bright future ahead of him.
San’jravion Madrid | Nichols Middle School | QB/DB
Madrid is 5’11” tall and 160 lbs. Madrid can do it all. Combine Director Frederick Stewart named him “Air Madrid” because he showed the ability to AIR IT OUT. Madrid will be a contributor immediately for the Canton Tigers.
Arkellious Lacey | Nichols Middle School | WR
Lacey is 6’0″ tall and 160lbs. Lacey will be a WR that we will talk about in the near future. At the combine, Lacey showed coaches reliable hands with a wide catching radius. We are looking for Lacey to perform well next season and become a crisp route runner.
Calvin Skinner | William Sullivan Middle School | WR/DB
Skinner is 5’9″ tall and 153 lbs. He is a real two-way player. On offense, his impressive speed and acceleration off the line enable him to stretch the field vertically and gain separation from defenders. On defense, he will stick with whomever you tell him to stick to. Coach Greenwood spoke highly of him before the combine, and we see why.
