Quarterbacks, receivers, running backs, offensive linemen and defensive backs that were recognized more than stepped up their game for the three hours.
When Homestead defensive end Johannes Mager (6-4, 220) and Boca Raton St. Andrew’s Academy linebacker Oliver Vickers-Murphy Oliver Vickers-Murphy 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Saint Andrew's School | 2025 FL (6-0, 205) were recognized, it shined a spotlight on the new generation of high school football player.
As many prospects have attended events and played this game for years here in this country, Mager, who grew up in Germany, and Vickers-Murphy, who came to the United States from Australia, made the most of this showcase and came out on top of some truly impressive football talent.
In addition to Mager, the 2025 defensive line also had some standouts – such as Jahmar Midi Jahmar Midi 6'2" Piper | 2025 FL (6-1, 235, Sunrise Piper), Luke O’Brien (6-2, 220, Bradenton Lakewood Ranch), and versatile Aidan Sutherland (6-3, 220, Wesley Chapel Cypress Creek) and Travis Zimmerle-Vigil Travis Zimmerle-Vigil 6'3" | 205 lbs | DL Vanguard | 2025 FL (OLB, 6-2, 205, Ocala Trinity Catholic) who both play tight end on offense.
The rising junior class (2026) also attracted talent like Blaze Jones Blaze Jones 6'2" | 215 lbs | DL Kissimmee Osceola | 2026 FL (6-2, 220, Orlando The First Academy) and Tyler Lind Tyler Lind 6'5" | 190 lbs | DL Hollywood Avant Garde Academy | 2026 FL (6-5, 205, Hollywood Avant Garde).
LINEBACKERS PERFORMED EXTREMELY WELL
In addition to Vickers-Murphy, the linebackers were also impressive and made it tough on the event coaches when choosing the MVP.
Among those who came out included 2026 prospects Matthew Coleman Matthew Coleman 5'8" | 175 lbs | LB Piper | 2026 FL (5-7, 170, Sunrise Piper) and Lagarious Tyler Jr Lagarious Tyler Jr 5'8" | 170 lbs | LB Fort Lauderdale | 2026 FL (5-8, 167) from Fort Lauderdale.
Even versatile and athletic Class of 2027 players Orion Sillito Orion Sillito 5'11" | 205 lbs | DL Seminole | 2027 FL (5-11, 210, St. Petersburg Northside Christian) and Liam Vazquez Liam Vazquez 5'10" Monsignor Edward Pace | 2027 FL (Miami Gardens Monsignor Edward Pace) also turned heads.
