Carmello Brooks Carmello Brooks 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Katy Paetow | 2025 State TX | DT | Paetow | 2025
During his junior season, Brooks showcased remarkable strength, aggression, and a relentless motor from the tackle position, proving to be a formidable force in the interior. His ability to quickly disengage from blocks and pursue the ball made him a challenging opponent for opposing offenses. Brooks demonstrated an unstoppable quality when he was at his best, with rapid quickness off the snap, precise hand placement, and sheer power to fend off blocks being prominent features of his game. He effectively disrupted run plays for offenses and applied excellent pressure from the interior, forcing quarterbacks out of the pocket and causing ill-advised throws. Currently recognized as a top player at his position, Brooks is expected to continue ascending as his skills and impact on the game further develop.
Torian Collier | DE | Mayde Creek | 2025
Collier proved to be an effective gap shooter with his lean frame and quickness off the snap. His ability to slant inside offensive linemen with drive caused many TFLs and stops in the backfield. Collier used his hands very well and had counters ready for any situation. His effort to get to the ball carrier was evident and he was a player who provided constant pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Collier’s skill off the edge will continue to be an issue for opponents for his senior year and he will be a player to watch.

McMoore emerged as a relentless and high-effort player, consistently giving his all on the field. Operating from his end position, he showcased exceptional hand technique, physicality at the point of attack, and the strength necessary to disengage from blockers. Notably, his closing speed on the ball was a standout feature, as he demonstrated an ability to hit another gear in pursuit of the play. McMoore played a pivotal role on the Mustang defense in the previous season, and his impact is expected to increase even further in his senior year. With a combination of skills, work ethic, and playmaking ability, he is positioned to be an influential force on the defensive side of the ball.
Nicholas Elko | DL | Paetow | 2025
Elko proved to be a versatile defensive lineman who played with much fire, making significant contributions to the Panther defense. His unmatched quickness and physicality off the ball set him apart. Elko displayed impressive speed, lateral quickness, and relentless pursuit when on the field, showcasing his ability to track down the ball. A reliable tackler within range, Elko’s on-field performance was characterized by a combination of high energy and intensity. His dynamic play not only made him a key asset for the team but also had the capacity to motivate and energize the entire squad. Elko’s presence and skill set made him a force to be reckoned with on the defensive line.
