Kelston Tarver Kelston Tarver 5’10” | 170 lbs | RB Russell County | 2026 State AL is an explosive running back for Russell County that put a lot of great things on tape throughout his sophomore season last fall. Standing at 5’11 170, Tarver has a great build and pairs it with some impressive speed, and acceleration that really sets him apart from his peers. Tarver had a great season last fall that featured him causing a ton of chaos on the ground- he ended up totaling 144 carries for 781 yards and 6 touchdowns, with an additional 10 receptions for 104 yards and one touchdown in the air as well. Something I found really impressive about Tarver’s game was his unique blend of his physicality and finesse- he has the ability to run you over and stiff arm you while he’s also able to break ankles and outrun nearly everyone in the open field. Keep an eye on him going forward, he’s got a lot to offer!
BJ Bedgood BJ Bedgood 6’0″ | 160 lbs | WR Greenville | 2026 State AL is a seriously talented wide receiver prospect out of Greenville that’s become a bigtime vertical threat and a key asset of Greenville’s offense. Bedgood has a really good frame at 6’0 160, can run some crisp routes, and has the hands to be an extremely reliable playmaker. All throughout last year, Bedgood was able to gain separation against opposing defensive backs really easily- his footwork and quickness go a long way and when you pair that with how aggressive his cuts are, he’s a consistently wide open target. When he’s open, Bedgood has some seriously strong hands that can bring in some really tough passes, and after the catch, he’s a monster. On film he routinely is able to fly by the entire secondary when he has the ball in his hands, making him a really difficult to guard WR.
Highlights
Logan Coppedge Logan Coppedge 5’11” | 185 lbs | QB Chilton County | 2026 State AL is a really talented sophomore quarterback for Chilton County that took a lot of steps this pass season in his development as a passer. Coppedge has a strong arm, great decision making, and can really execute their offense in some great ways. Last fall, he ended up recording 98/182 attempts for 1313 yards and 11 touchdowns, to just 6 interceptions on the year. On tape, Coppedge has the ability to really deliver some accurate, high velocity throws- it’s impressive how quick he’s able to get the ball out. In addition to his arm, Coppedge routinely makes correct reads and is able to move the chains at a really efficient rate. Chilton County’s offense is in good hands, keep an eye on this guy next fall!
Rhys Dorsey Rhys Dorsey 5’10” | 160 lbs | ATH Dothan | 2026 State AL is a talented athlete for Decatur that does a lot for them, but is a serious threat at both wide receiver, and punt/kick returner. Dorsey is an electric playmaker at wide receiver as he consistently is able to make some huge plays downfield- when you pair his electric speed with his route running and hands, you get a target that will beat any man he lines up against with ease. As a returner Dorsey displays some excellent vision and athleticism- he is able to navigate the field to find the right lanes to then get terrific starting field position or in the endzone. Dorsey is a highly athletic playmaker that will continue to be a really reliable player for Decatur- keep an eye on him next season, he’s going to make some plays!
