2025 Texas Players To Know

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 class is pretty loaded in Texas. Here are some players that I was able to check out this morning. I really like their game. These are some guys that I think you should know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='691003' first='Caleb' last='Cook']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Cook is my kind of quarterback. He is a big guy that knows how to move around in the pocket. He has a strong arm and great mechanics. Cook is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback from New Home. This kid deserves some division one looks. I was impressed with what I saw when I watched his film. He does a good job of throwing on the run as well. He is a guy to know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Cristian Castro </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Castro is another quarterback that I like. He plays for Sterling City. He is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound guy that has a nice arm. Castro reminds me of the smaller quarterbacks that have great intelligence. He knows when to get the football out on time. I'll be keeping up with him.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Julian Salazar </strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Salazar is a guy that has a strong arm. On the first play of his film, you can see him making a 62-yard pass. The throw itself was actually 62 yards. This young man has a lot of talent, and he is a guy that coaches need to keep up with. I think that he has a great chance of playing on the next level. He is another quarterback that has some nice mechanics.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Micah Ellis</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ellis is a running back that has great vision. He also has superb balance. When I watched his film, I noticed that he knows how to make guys miss. Ellis is a running back that also has good speed. When he gets in the open field, he is gone for long touchdown runs. Ellis is a player that I think also has a chance to be a slot receiver on the next level. Ellis knows how to keep his shoulders square when he is going between the tackles. He also knows how to make his body small when he needs to.
