The rising Senior prospect had a very nice Junior campaign for one of the top teams in Norcal, and has ideal length and the frame for the next level at the tackle position. He is a very athletic kid with good bend in his ankles/hips, active feet at contact and finishes blocks downfield while able to scrape to the second level and block in space/pull across the LOS. He shows steady and patient hands in pass protection with good body control and balance against edge rushers, and is a high IQ kid that can also get underneath defenders which is rare for someone with his height. He is a no brainer FCS+ caliber kid that is very worthy of cracking our rankings.
Craft checks in just outside the top 40 at the position within the state, and is another very long and athletic tackle that will only continue to pack on more weight to his frame as he moves through high school and college. He is a true vertical run blocker with a quick and powerful first step, while immediately creating a vertical push to create running lanes and also is a effective puller while able to scrape to linebackers with ease. Still a developing pass blocker, he will be a very intriguing prospect at the next level in the right system due to his frame and length.
Ata is one of the better interior offensive lineman across the vaunted WCAL, and is a true interior guy that can do damage in the run game and plays with good violence and physicality. He has a strong immediate punch, wins with leverage, leg drive and a strong base at the POA while able to drive, combo and pull out to the second level if needed. Checking into our ranks as one of the better players in his class through out the region, he is one to watch as we continue through the off-season and enter into the Fall.
