Zyier Hines Zyier Hines 6'2" | 175 lbs | WR South Garner | 2024 State NC – South Garner
Standing at 6’2 and 175 pounds, this prospect has some good film out there. On the first play of his film, he takes a simple hitch route, breaks 3 tackles, and goes 75 yards for a touchdown, outrunning the defense. That got my attention immediately. He has multiple plays where he does this – which also shows off some excellent speed. He can high point the ball well against single coverage also. Judging from his Twitter profile, he is definitely under the radar and deserves some attention and consideration from schools.
Josh Alston – East Forsyth
Producing 39 catches with 882 yards and 10 touchdowns, Josh showed to be a very effective big-play receiver for a strong program in East Forsyth. He does have some recruiting attention, listing offers from Greensboro, Catawba, Fayetteville State, Mars Hill, UVA-Wise, and Culver-Stockton. He has an excellent frame at 6’4 and 190 pounds, and when you turn on the tape he puts some impressive things out there. He shows excellent long speed on the deep ball, quickly closing the cushion against corners and running by them with ease. He is a willing and strong blocker in the run game and shows some long arms for a nice catch radius to high-point the football.
Jaylen Neal Jaylen Neal 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Bartlett Yancey | 2024 State NC – Bartlett Yancey
Jaylen may be unsigned currently, but he has some colleges interested including Charlotte, Maine, NC Central, East Carolina, Charleston Southern, and North Carolina A&T among others. The 6’3 and 185-pound prospect had a strong senior year, producing 62 catches for over 1100 yards and 15 touchdowns. When you take a look at his film, he has some obvious strengths: speed with the ball in his hands – he is a talented playmaker. He also high-points the ball against single coverage extremely well. Jaylen can also play some defensive back and had four interceptions from the cornerback spot this past season.
Amir Alexander – North Rowan
Holding offers from Elizabeth City State and Chowan, Amir should have some more consideration from schools after looking at his film. Producing over 900 yards this past season with 11 touchdowns, Amir is a certified playmaker on the outside. He uses his 6’3 205 pound frame well, breaking tackles and stiff-arming defensive backs on multiple occasions with his run-after-catch ability. That’s the impressive thing – Amir scores and makes big plays on a wide variety of routes, and shows he can be used all over the formation even with his size.
Chet Yardley Chet Yardley 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Cardinal Gibbons | 2024 State NC – Cardinal Gibbons
A first-team All-Conference player, Chet helped elevate a Cardinal Gibbons program to one of the best in the state of North Carolina. In his senior year, he produced 57 catches for 1,086 yards and 14 touchdowns. When you take a look at the film, Chet shows that he can consistently win against 1 on 1 coverage by not only running past them with very good speed, but he shows great agility in his route running. You can tell he has been coached well. He also shows strong hands, making tough catches in critical situations. He also is a strong blocker in the run game. He currently has offers from Carnegie Mellon and Butler.
