ORANGEBURG – [player_tooltip player_id='267466' first='Dashun' last='Reeder'] was a one-man show in last year's Class A championship game.

He scored three touchdowns, rushed for 152 yards and had an interception in the 43-20 win over Johnsonville.

For this year's rematch, the Shrine Bowl selection had plenty of company in putting away the Golden Flashes for the second year in a row.

The Cavaliers rolled to a 67-21 rout over Johnsonville to repeat as champions. On another day, Reeder's 191 total yards of offense and two touchdowns would earn him sole top honors of the game.

On Friday, it was a pair of talented juniors who also dominated Johnsonville again. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1013068' first='Tucker' last='Hendrix'] was 9-11 passing for 242 yards and five touchdowns to five different receivers.

[player_tooltip player_id='816751' first='Jude' last='Hall'] accounted for two scoring receptions. He caught a 29-yard touchdown pass from last year's starter Judd Windham in the third quarter as Christ Church (13-2) pulled away.

Against Johnsonville a year ago, Windham threw for 261 yards and three touchdowns in the final.

Junior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1012637' first='Jackson' last='Repp'] rounded out the Cavaliers' “Triple Threat” on offense. Fittingly, he scored from three different positions as he surpassed last year's performance in which he caught six passes for 160 yards and a touchdown.

Repp had a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter, a 16-yard run in which he shook past two defenders into the endzone and a 64-yard reception which he followed with a jump pass to Cooper Hronchek for a 2-point conversion.

Repp finished with 139 return yards, five receptions for 104 yards and two rushes for 12 yards. As a team, Christ Church amassed 400 total yards.

“We have a bunch of playmakers, and everyone to make plays and so they can't focus on one guy,” Repp said. “It was just perfect getting the opportunities, getting Deshun opportunities, getting all of us to get opportunities. We've got a bunch of playmakers that make great plays and make a splash.”

Head coach Quin Hatfield was quick to reiterate how much his senior-laden offensive line - Martin Russo, Grant Strohmaier, Grayson Varnadoe and co-captains Lincoln Weldie and Patrick McMaster, (pictured holding trophy) who closed out the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run – made everything possible.

“They've been great for us all year,” Hatfield said. “A bunch of seniors upfront. They were out getting some pressure on us early. We knew they were going to bring some pressure, but great thing about being seasoned up there, we were able to shift a little bit in pass protection and get some time to get over the top and that opened up the run. That first one we ran for a touchdown, those guys pulling, that was a thing of beauty.”

Johnsonville had its offensive moments with running back [player_tooltip player_id='997329' first='Neal' last='Martin']. He rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='997242' first='Malik' last='Shippy'] threw a 41-yard touchdown to [player_tooltip player_id='996857' first='Travis' last='Wilson'].

Shippy finished 9-20 for 140 yards and an interception.

Senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='997188' first='Jake' last='Good'] had a team-high 11 tackles for a Christ Church defense which allowed 259 total yards and held Johnsonville to 4-13 on third down efficiency.
