The Farmers led a late 78-yard drive all the way to the end zone with the 11 seconds left on Jy’Marion Island’s goal-line touchdown run and then again moments later on his go-ahead two-point conversion to claim the 36-35 victory.
Island and company finally won the program’s first state championship since 2013 after falling just short in the final game each of the past three seasons.
