Kam Montgomery | College Park | 2025
Montgomery showcased his skills as a junior signal caller, demonstrating the ability to navigate the pocket with poise, maintain focus downfield, and deliver accurate passes to his receivers. His composure under pressure allowed him to evade rushers, showcasing escape ability to extend plays and highlight his arm talent. Montgomery’s proficiency in ball placement and accuracy on the move made him a challenging player to contain. In his junior year, he threw for over 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. With such a performance, Montgomery is poised for continued success in his senior season.
Hunter Taylor | New Caney | 2025
Taylor emerged as a dual-threat quarterback for the Eagles, showcasing the ability to escape the pocket and make crucial plays with his legs. He demonstrated accuracy on the move, connecting with his targets while maintaining a mistake-free game. Taylor’s ball security and ability to sustain drives were key components of his game. In an impressive season, he passed for over 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns while also contributing nearly 500 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. With such versatility, Taylor proved to be a dynamic playmaker for his team.
Jack Emerson | Oak Ridge | 2025
Emerson demonstrated strong quarterback skills, showcasing a good arm with both zip and touch. Taking command of the offense, he displayed elusiveness in the pocket that translated into significant gains for the team. Emerson’s quick release allowed him to get the ball to his playmakers rapidly. As the season progressed, he improved and gained confidence, showing that he will pose a challenge for opposing defenses in the upcoming year.

Nunley’s standout skill was his capability to tuck and run, setting him apart from others in his position.
