Beau is a two-way athlete for Turner Ashby playing Running Back and Linebacker. He was named Team Captain, All-State LB, and All-Region RB. He has good anticipation and patience as a player. On offense, he allows his blocks to develop and has good burst through the hole with good balance to keep his feet moving against arm tackles and will fall forward when brought down. On defense, he has good zone coverage processing and knows where to be to make a play on the ball. He can shed the blocks of WRs and make an open-field tackle.
Nolan was the man in the middle of Radford’s 15-0 State Championship team. He was named 1st Team All-District, Region, and State for the 2023 season. He plays with good pad level and can stay under defensive linemen in run blocking. He shows good ability in Zone, Base, and Double-Team Blocks. He has good anticipation for releasing off a double-team to block the LB with good angles to the point of attack. He has good strength and leg drive, with good sustain and finish on his blocks. Logan was named to the 1st Team All-Seminole District as a right guard this season. I mentioned him in the first article I wrote this year featuring Jefferson Forest’s offensive line who sealed a victory in the second half. Logan has quick feet and comes off the line of scrimmage with very good explosiveness that can knock defensive linemen off balance. He is asked to Base block, Pull block, Double-Team block, and block at the second level. He is able to engage and then refit his hands creating good block sustain, and he has the strength to finish his blocks putting the defender on the ground.
Burke is a sophomore and is someone who you will want to keep an eye on for the next two seasons. He finished the 2023 season playing 9 games with 20 receptions, 617 yards, 7 receiving TDs, 2 punt return TDs, and accumulated 720 total yards. He has developed good route-running skills and can vary his release speed to keep DBs off balance. He has very good acceleration and burst out of cuts which allow him to get deeper than safeties. He has good hands and ball skills, can adjust to balls thrown outside of his frame, can highpoint a ball, and then quickly convert himself into a runner. He has very good lateral quickness and agility with good COD which allows him to force mistakes in open space and weave in and out of traffic. When he finds open space, he can find the next gear and outrun most DBs he will face. Hudl / Twitter

Aaron was limited to just 6 games this year, but his film still shows some very nice things. He had 9 carries on offense for 67 yards and 1 TD. On defense, he had 1 PBU, 10.5 Tackles, and 1 Tackle for Loss. He has quick and agile footwork. He has a gliding backpedal and good change of direction in and out of his cuts. He plays well in off coverage where he can can read the QB and come downhill to to make a play and secure a tackle. His limited film as a running back shows speed and quickness as a runner on offense, with good burst and acceleration. Look forward to seeing Aaron play a full season next year.
