Doing these analyses allows me to spotlight a lot of players. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.
Michael Ryan Michael Ryan 5'10" | 140 lbs | K Plant City Durant | 2025 FL – Durant High c/o 25
5’10 160lbs
Ryan had another solid season for Durant High; he’s led the district 2 straight seasons in passing yards. This season Ryan lead the Cougars into the regional semifinals of the State playoffs and set a school record throwing for 1927 yards, completed 64% of his passes with 24 touchdowns and a QB rating of 116.1. He also finished third on the team rushing for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Touch and accuracy
Good anticipation on his throws
Smart player that can dissect coverages
Greg Smith lll- Sumner High c/o 24
6’4 200lbs
Smith is an outstanding prospect and one of the top players in the Tampa Bay area. Smith led the Stingrays to an 11-1 record and into the regional finals where they lost in a tough fight against Plant High. Smith was dominant this year throwing for 1633 yards, completed 57% of his passes with 32 touchdowns, and a QB rating of 126.6. He was also second on the team with 409 yard rushing and 7 touchdowns. Smith also checked in on defense tallying 29 tackles and an interception. Smith has over 26 D1 offers, including offers from Florida, Virginia, and FSU to name a few.

Noah Guenther- Newsome High c/o 25
5’11 180lbs
Guenther was impressive as a first year starter this season for the Wolves; he finished third in the district and set school records throwing for 1512 yards, completing an outstanding 62% of his passes, with 11 touchdowns. Guenther also rushed for 96 yards and 3 touchdowns. I expect Guenther take big steps this Spring and will return as the top quarterback in the district next season.

Aaron Turner Aaron Turner 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Lennard | 2024 FL – Riverview High c/o 24
6’1 183lbs
Playing in a tough district this season, Turner really showed what he’s capable of as a quarterback. He finished fourth in the district passing for 1044 yards, completed 62% of his passes with 12 touchdowns. he finished third on the team with 439 yd rushing and 8 touchdowns, while averaging over 5 yards per carry. Turner led the Sharks to a 7-4 record and into the State playoffs. Turner’s outstanding play this season earned him an invite to play in the Hillsborough County All Star Game.
