Continue ReadingIt’s great to see Keaton Reinke at the showcasae after a season cut short due to injury. Standing at 6’3 and weighing 200 lbs, he seems to possess the physical attributes necessary for a dominant outside wide receiver spot. The combination of size, agility, and speed is certainly appealing for college coaches, making him an intriguing prospect. Being just a sophomore, Reinke has time to further develop his skills. I suspect he will have a major season next year.
Jayden Banks’s impressive speed at the showcase didn’t come as a surprise to those who have watched his film. I kept an eye on him during drills to see how he looked in the individual portion of the showcase. In the past year, Banks was utilized in a versatile “gadget” role for HF, showcasing his ability to make plays and contribute in various ways. If he continues to refine his skills and focuses on the finer details of his game, he has a chance to be a big play slot wide receiver.
Daniel Robinson was another wide receiver at the showcase who displayed high-end speed. Not only did he run fast in the testing portion, but he was also able to showcase it during 1-on-1 drills. He successfully beat defensive backs on go routes, demonstrating his ability to stretch the field vertically. Robinson’s film from this past season mirrored his showcase performance, as he also excelled as an excellent kick returner. Robinson’s home run ability is certain to catch the attention of coaches, as he proves to be a dynamic playmaker.
