Danny O’Neil Danny O’Neil 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Cathedral | 2024 State IN – Cathedral – QB – 6’0″ 185lbs – #3 OVR
O’Neil made national headlines for de-committing from Colorado last month. The star QB stepped back because of the uncertainty of what could be going on in Boulder. That said, he’s a smart kid who doesn’t make uncalculated moves. Since making the move, he’s received a plethora of offers and eyes. It’s rare to have a guy with his prestige available this late in the season, but he is. Wherever he lands will be newsworthy once again, but his current offers include Kentucky, San Diego State, Houston, Cincinnati, Illinois, IU, Wisconsin, and Wake Forest to name a few. More offers could come, but the recruiting eyes are on O’Neil as he weighs his options. He’s still planning to enroll early and be able to roll this January!

Corey Smith Corey Smith 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR Brownsburg | 2024 State IN – Brownsburg – WR – 6’1″ 170lbs – #13 OVR
Smith is one of the state’s best WRs who just reopened his recruiting process this past week or so. The 3-star nationally ranked WR was previously committed to Minnesota but has since decided there is a better fit for him and his speed out there. After putting up 1500 yards and 13 TDs against the state’s top-tier programs, it’s clear Smith can play against some of the best, which is why he’s so highly regarded. Game-changing speed with a hungry attitude goes far on Saturdays. Smith currently has offers from Tulsa, Liberty, Marshall, Kent State, and Western Michigan to name a few. Where Smith truly ends up is still in the air, but when he does, they’re landing a stud.

Lane Wadle Lane Wadle 6'5" | 240 lbs | TE Greenfield-Central | 2024 State IN – Greenfield Central – TE – 6’5″ 240lbs – #32 OVR
Wadle is one of the highest-regarded TEs to hit the open market. After initially being committed to Georgia Tech, Wadle decided to re-open his commitment. His play on the field combined with the potential he has, began to spark too much interest for other schools to leave alone, even with his commitment. Wadle is a 3-star TE who can do it all at the position, especially combined with his frame and athletic ability, which is why he’s so hot on the market right now. Wadle has offers from Georgia State, UCF, Georgia Tech, Maryland, and a few others. He’s got all the makings of being a high-level starter on Saturday’s which is why he’s looking at all his options.

Jayden Hazelwood Jayden Hazelwood 6'3" | 315 lbs | OL Evansville North | 2024 State IN – Evansville North – OL – 6’3″ 315lbs – 57 OVR
Hazelwood is a big lineman who had a great career quietly at the southern end of the state. While stomping around the fields down there, it’s clear he’s got the talent to be a pretty special lineman at the next level. His size, mobility, and balance all point to him being able to contribute sooner than later on Saturdays. The only school that I’ve found with a full offer is Miami (OH). How one of the state’s best linemen who was just voted as an All-State lineman yet again, is this far under the radar is beyond me. Miami (OH) has a long history of quietly sniping studs and being a good football team year in and out, because they target guys like Hazelwood.

Micah Lillard Micah Lillard 6'2" | 175 lbs | DB Lafayette Jefferson | 2024 State IN – Jefferson – DB – 6’2″ 180lbs – #63 OVR
Lillard is an incredibly dynamic DB who quickly caught a ton of traction with his ability to lay the big hit and impact the game on the backend. He’s got a nice build and has no issue helping in run support. His athletic ability and explosive cuts are what make him such a good player. It seems as though only schools in the Midwest have caught on, but the 2-star DB has offers from Akron, Austin Peay, Ball State, Bowling Green, and Eastern Michigan. More offers could and should come, but time will tell. Lillard’s landing spot is wide open at the moment as we round into 2024.

Terrell Caldwell Terrell Caldwell 5'10" | 165 lbs | WR Hobart | 2024 State IN – Hobart – WR – 5’10” 170lbs #65 OVR
Caldwell is a guy I’ve long stood on and pounded the table for. He’s unbelievably twitchy, a great downfield threat, and all he ever does is produce at a high level. Caldwell put up over 2000 yards and 30 TDs over his past 20 games. The 2nd set of 10 games was at a new school with a new QB. He picked up right where he left off at Calumet Tech when he got to Hobart. The now 2-star WR Has offers from Eastern Michigan, Valparaiso, Findlay, and Southwest Baptist, but in my opinion, there should be more. Caldwell is incredibly talented and is going to help some offense wherever he lands, just don’t be the school that misses out.

Isaiah Miller Isaiah Miller 6'4" | 195 lbs | ATH Plainfield | 2024 State IN – Plainfield – ATH – 6’4″ 195lbs – #71 OVR
Miller is a fantastic athlete with a great build who stands out for obvious physical reasons. He’s been the big play, jump ball, and contested catch guy for Plainfield since he stepped on the field. The best part is he’s a physical player who can block on the end of the line as well as out wide. Schools quickly caught on and he’s begun to pick up some traction late. He’s now a 2-star recruit and it was absolutely earned. With offers from Grand Valley and Culver Stockton, it’s possible that if his name began to garner the traction it should, he could pick up quite a few more offers from now until Signing Day.
