We always value all High School Coaches who want to promote their players to college coaches programs. In fact, I prioritize all High Schools Coaches request. This report is a response to the request submitted by Head Coach Kevin Avery, from Greenwich Country Day School.
In this report, I will take a closer look at a few prospects attending “Greenwich Country Day School in Connecticut”. These recruits have posted fall 2023 season films and i will briefly analyze what stands out in their skills to me for each recruit. Viewing a recruit’s recent highlight film is one of many tools we use to evaluate. This is how we and many college coaches can get a great feel for each recruit and their potential. These reports include a Hudl video or link for each recruit that is viewed and evaluated. This is a weekly report that I will publish each week as we attempt to evaluate those worthy of being ranked amongst the best of the best in New England.
Greenwich Country Day School || WR/DB/ATH || 2025 || 6’0 167 || 3.8 unweighted GPA || All-Evergreen League Mention
Austin Rinello
Season Film Observations: Has good field vision to see open lanes as a returner. Has an effective decent burst after the catch that alllows him to pick up good YAC. He gives a solid obvious effort to get as many yards after the catch (YAC), after each reception. Displays good hands and a few clips has him plucking the ball out of the air in full stride. His frame is lean and athletic. He is a bit raw in getting in and out of his breaks when running routes, but has the athleticism to overcome it at the high school level. He appears confident in his abilities and surely a productive skilled player for his team this season. His physical measurables align with Div 1 High FCS/D-2/NAIA/D-3 college level wide receivers.

Season Film Observations: Playing inside DT he has a quick obvious burst from his stance. Displays ability to beat HS offensive linemen. Has a obvious solid get-off. Flashes ability to win at the line of scrimmage. Solid footwork and leverage in the run game. Can get off blocks. Makes very good use of his hands. A relentless pursuer that gives consistent effort during each play. He uses a wrap and roll technique when tackling. His physical meausrables align with Low Div- 2/ NAIA/All D-3 college level defensive tackles.

Nash Edwards
Season Film Observations: His film shows a series of alternating defensive and offensive line clips. His current physical measurables aren’t aligned with any college levels at this time. But he has plenty of time for additional growth and development. On defense, he is scrappy with decent burst from his stance. Gives persistent efforts each rep. On offense, he executes his blocks using good leverage. He keeps his feet moving while hitting is target and maintains his blocks until the whistle. He displays the ability to pull and hit moving targets. He has some good clips showing his physical ability with aggressive skills.

Jesse Ripka
Season Film Observations: He is coming off a 2023 season where he had 143 / 225 (64%) for a total of 1934 yards and 26 total TD’s. He had only 4 interceptions.
For his career, He was 472 / 726 (65%) for a total of 6,121 yards and 65 total TD’s.
An enjoyable film review into this young mans season highlights. He has a few outstanding individual attributes such as, ability to adjust his arm angle to make a quality throw, leadership, and command/comfortable presence in the pocket. He appears to have the skill set to throw the deep out, comeback, dig, and seam routes with slight loft. 1st clip in his reel, shows his ability to escape the pocket and still make plays. Has the proficient ability to throw receivers open and execute the back shoulder throw. His physical measurables align with Div-1 Low FCS/ High Div-2/ high NAIA quarterbacks.
His season play earned him Evergreen All-League First Team honors this season.

Cooper Edwards: “Edwards” was ranked as the # 70 athlete in the class of 2024 in New England prior to the 2023 season start. He is coming off a season where he totaled 35 receptions and 11 td’s.
Season Film Observations: His framed pops on film. Obvious length in his arms and legs. He runs good routes for a large framed wide receiver. He will go up top high top anything near him and win the battle. Aggressive mechanics are seen in his skill set. Has a nice release off of the LOS, good vision and instincts, good hands, a mean stiff arm to make defenders miss in the open field. An impressive senior film that could help increase Division 1-level interest. Had offers from Monmouth and Wagner prior to the season. Seen as a solid wide receiver prospect who can create mismatches. His physical measurables align with all college levels of play.

Jake LeDonne
Mid-Season Film Observations: His final season film was not readily available at the time of publish, so his mid-season film will be reviewed. His reel holds several clips of him playing linebacker and running back. His RB skills appear more attractive to college potential play. I see him as a possible third down/short yardgae running back who can get those tough yards when needed. He flashes the ability to catch out of the backfield in screens. Relentless efforts he gives when he carries the ball, and even carries the pile in a few clips as defenders try to take him down. He can finish runs with power and obvious lean into contact. His physical measurables align with Div 1 High FCS/D2/NAIA/D3 college level running backs.
