There were many stars this season that surfaced, and now it’s that time of the year I begin to go through all this data. The New England Preparatory School Athletic Council is an organization that serves as the governing body for sports in preparatory schools and leagues in New England. This past weekend, they released a 2023 Fall All NEPSAC Awards that is chosen amongst the coaches within the league.
2026 “Defensive Edge” Dominic Funke attends At Sebastian’s High School in Needham MA. The rising sophomore had another impressive season that was similar to his freshman season where his play earned him several Div- 1 offers. He is rare find and an aggressive player who can make a lot happen on defense. He finished the season with 12 sacks and 71 tackles in 8 games! He was ranked as our # 1 defensive line player in the class of 2026 within New England before the fall 2023 season. 2023 HIGHLIGHT FILM

2026 “Quarterback” Réis Little attends Belmont Hill School in Massachusetts. The rising sophomore opened many eyes this season. Our ranking team evaluated and ranked him as the # 3 defensive back in the class of 2026 within New England before the season. His season performances at quarterback have surely given him a boost in his future recruiting stock. Head Coach Anthony Fucello stated the following about his play this season. “Big arm, athletic, sees the field well, fast learner. Earned All-ISL in his first year as a starter. Sky’s the limit for Reis Little Reis Little 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Belmont Hill | 2026 State New E , lucky to have him for 2 more years”. He totaled 1016 yards passing, 9 TDs, 264 yards rushing, 6 TDs, and only 4 interceptions in 9 games this season. He will be evaluated as a QB during our updated rankings release and based on his numbers this season, he will likely be a highly-ranked prospect. 2023 HIGHLIGHT FILM
2026 “Defensive Back” Darnell Bronson Darnell Bronson 5’10” | 195 lbs | ATH Lawrence Academy | 2026 State New E attends Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts. The 2025 athlete was positioned at defensive back from New Milford High School in Connecticut last season. This season, he is reclassed at Lawrence Academy into the class of 2026 and had an impressive season at the prep level. He totaled 437 all-purpose yards, 23 TOT tackles, and 7 total pbu’s during his season play. He was not ranked within his new class during our last ranking release due to the transfer being late news to us. Going forward, he is on track to be ranked in the class of 2026 within New England during our next updated rankings release. 2023 HIGHLIGHT FILM

2026 “Offensive Lineman” Marky Walbridge attends St Sebastian’s High School In Needham, Massachusetts. The big OL sophomore is a name known to many already in the New England region. He impressed many during his freshman debut last season and earned the attention of many Power 5 schools. He had another impressive season in 2023 that should spark additional college interest. He was ranked before the season as the top prospect of our very first 2026 rankings. With several Power 5 offers to his name this early into his career, the stamp of approval placed by some of the best coaching staff in America, was enough validation for our ranking team to give him the top nod within the class of 2026. 2023 HIGHLIGHT FILM
2026 “Defensive Tackle” Kayden Bennett attends Suffield Academy in Connecticut. He headed into the fall 2023 season with a great resume after a great fall 2022 season play. He followed that with a rewarding spring/summer evaluation period where he earned Div 1 FBS offers from regional schools such as Umass, Boston College, and Uconn in June 2023. The explosive defensive tackle is a menace in the middle of his team’s defense and surely opened surrounding coaches’ eyes once again this season. He was ranked as our # 7 defensive lineman in the class of 2026 within New England before the fall 2023 season. He could see a boost in his rankings as a result of his season performance when the updated class of 2026 rankings are released in February 2024. 2023 HIGHLIGHT FILM
2026 “Athlete” Justin Morle Justin Morle 5’9″ | 215 lbs | RB Kingswood Oxford | 2026 State New E attends Kingswood Oxford School in Connecticut. He is a new name running back that surfaced to our attention this season after transferring to Kingswood Oxford School this fall. I saw him play in a live setting and he caught my eye with his consistent physical play during the game on both sides of the ball. He totaled 600 rushing yards, 3 touchdowns, 67 tackles, 10 tackles for losses, 4 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 blocked kick all in 8 games of season play. His season play has assured him to be included in our updated rankings which will be released in February 2024.
