One of New Jersey’s top backs in the class of 2025 has made his decision. Back atop the month DePaul Catholic’s Nolan James Nolan James 5’11” | 185 lbs | RB DePaul Catholic | 2025 State NJ announced his intention to fly like an Eagle upon graduation. Flying up north to Chestnut Hill James will be, as he has committed to play ball at Boston College.
The month of December came in like a March does – in like a lion – for St. Augustine’s Vincent Isom Vincent Isom 6’1″ | 280 lbs | DL St. Augustine Prep | 2024 NJ . Isom’s month started with an offer from East Stroudsburg University to join the warriors. Shortly thereafter, Isom received two big preferred walk-on opportunities on the same day from University of New Hampshire and the University of Maine.

Before being nominated for Prep Redzone New Jersey’s 2023 Rusher of the Year earlier this month, Connor Dietz Connor Dietz 6’1″ | 180 lbs | QB Brick Memorial | 2024 State NJ received a huge scholarship offer. Coming down from Springfield, Mass were the Yellow Jackets to come in and offer Brick’s standout quarterback. I am curious to see where Dietz ends up playing at the next level.

Bombs away! One of the Sayreville Bomber’s key components in the trenches is off and running to his next destination. Connor Walsh Connor Walsh 6’2″ | 230 lbs | OL Sayerville | 2024 State NJ , a load to handle at interior line and guard, will be a load to handle over the next four years for those who line up against him at East Stroudsburg University – the place where Walsh will be calling his new home.
A little late to the recruitment beat of a prospect who happens to share with me the greatest first name known to man, Brendan Delaney Brendan Delaney 6’5″ | 250 lbs | ATH Lawrenceville Prep | 2024 State NJ ‘s recruitment has picked up big time since about Thanksgiving. First appearing on my radar in early December, Delaney received an offer to change his red for Crimson, as Harvard offered him a scholarship. However, after I dug a bit deeper Delaney has several outstanding D-I offers from schools such as Georgetown, Penn State, Princeton, Albany, Fordham, and Elon just to name a few. Stay tuned to see where this stud d-lineman ends up!

Not sure how to get there, but the trip from Metuchen, NJ to Lewiston, ME cannot be that bad, can it? St. Joseph’s of Metuchen’s standout defender Elias Scott Elias Scott 6’0″ | 205 lbs | LB St. Joseph’s (Metuchen) | 2024 NJ has received what appears to be his first offer from Bates College. Being unfamiliar with Bates College myself, this institution seems pretty prestigious as they have an acceptance rate of a mere 17.5%. Stay tuned to see what happens with Scott next!
