Continue ReadingGavin Mentzer Gavin Mentzer 6’1″ | 200 lbs | K North Schuylkill | 2025 PA has a strong leg and shows it off with his kicking ability. He also shows his accuracy with his leg with his punting ability. He had an average of 43 yards on his punts, with a long of 55. He also hit 67% inside the 20, with many inside the 10. Mentzer was 5/7 on field goals with a long of 42 yards. He was also 53 out of 57 on extra points. Finally, Mentzer kicked 34 out of 77 kickoffs as touchbacks. Mentzer has had a good year and recently visited Marshall University, I expect more visits and offers to happen in the future.

Matthew Parker Matthew Parker 6’2″ | 205 lbs | K Central York | 2025 PA has a strong leg and showed it off this season for Central York. Parker averaged 41 yards a punt and had a punt as long as 64 yards. The most impressive part of his game was his kickoffs. He had a touchback on 81% of them. A super impressive effort by Parker. Parker also was 40-42 on extra points and 10 of 13 on field goals. Included in those 10 field goal makes were two 50-yarders. Including one of 54 yards against rival York High. Matthew Parker Matthew Parker 6’2″ | 205 lbs | K Central York | 2025 PA looks like he should have a good chance to play College Football in the future.

John Zipf
John Zipf is one of the most consistent kickers in the state. He hit 80% of his kickoffs as touchbacks. He also was 7/9 on field goals and 37 out of 39 on extra points. Zipf consistently showed he was a good kicker. He shows a strong leg and lots of accuracy.
Connor Poole
Connor Poole
Connor Poole is one of the most talented kickers in the state. He had an elite year kicking this past season. He averaged 43 yards a punt and that induced 17 punts inside the 20. He was 8 out of 10 on field goals including field goals from 50, 49, and 45 yards. He also hit 36 out of 42 kickoffs for touchbacks. Poole currently has 3 offers from Colleges including Colgate. He also has an offer as a Preferred Walk-On from West Virginia. Poole will have his pick of Colleges to choose from.
Ben Bosio
Ben Bosio
Ben Bosio had a good year kicking for Pope John Paul II. He was 60 out of 62 on extra points. He made two field goals. On from 27 yards and one from 35 yards. Finally he was a weapon with kickoffs. He had touchbacks on 32 out of 55 kicks. Bosio shows a good strong and consistent leg.
