Chase Dupree QB (Southwest Macon)
Already a Star in the Macon Area and will not be long before he is a household name around the State in the recruiting circles. The 6’3 pro-style QB has all the intangibles to be a contributor at the next level. We are waiting on those Sophomore highlights to drop but you get an idea of what he can do from last year’s film. Tall, athletic kid that can in the pocket and throw the deep ball. He also has the arm strength to make sharp passes across the middle. Has a big IQ on the field as well as in the classroom where he carries a 3.9 GPA. He passed for over 2500 yards this season with 28 TDs and was named the 2AA POY. Outstanding on the hardwood where he already holds several D1 offers.
Aaron Kearse LB (Sumter County)
The 6’1 190 LB was named 1st Team All Region as a Sophomore this season. Kearse is a weight room junky that came moved up to Varsity last season after a highly touted middle school campaign where he earned ITG Next Male Youth Athlete of The Year. Really progressed a lot from his Freshman season to his Sophomore season. Great coverage LB that has the speed and technique to cover WR’s. Gets downhill quick in run support and is an aggressive tackler. Already has good size at 6’1 190 but has a lean body type that will easily add muscle weight, we wouldn’t be surprised to see him around the 210 mark before he graduates in two years. With his speed and athleticism, I could see him making an easy transition to DB at the next level.
Tailen Sampson LB (Northeast Macon)
The 5’10 190 Sophomore has the film you get excited to see if you like LB play. The Region Co DPOY gets downhill fast and with a purpose. Has above average speed that is a great “North South” linebacker, in other words, he picks a point to attack and runs through it. Accounted for 112 TT this season with 6 TFL and added an interception. Had a breakout game verse highly ranked Appling Co with 14 TT, 11 of those solo. Definitely a player I’m personally going to keep an eye on these next two seasons.
Jah Evans DB (Pierce County)
I saw this guy Live at the Benz last week verse Rockmart. Great coverage DB with impressive size for a Sophomore. High football IQ with a good 1st step that excels in 1 v 1 coverage. Was an efficient contributor on the offensive side of the ball this season for the State Champs. He had 25 total touches for 400 yards and 7 TDs. Was selected 1st Team All Region this season has bright future down at Pierce County.
Kaden Chester Kaden Chester 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Worth County | 2026 State GA RB (Worth County)
Quick, agile, solid compact build with great hands. That pretty much sums up this 5’9 175 pound Sophomore running back from Worth County. He helped lead the Rams to a 8-2 regular season record contributing close to 1100 total yards with a combination of running and catching. Was clocked earlier this season with a GPS vest at 20.09 mph. He had a season high 24 carries for 134 yards with 3 TDs in a 56-46 win over Berrien. PrepRedZone has him ranked in the Top150 for the ’26 Class and is one to definitely keep an eye on the next 2 years.
