TALLAHASSEE – In their record eighth consecutive trip to the state final game, Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna put an exclamation mark on a perfect season (14-0) with a dominating 56-0 win against previously unbeaten Clearwater Central Catholic in the 1M final at Bragg Memorial Stadium at Florida A&M University.
It was the sixth state title for head coach Dameon Jones and his impressive and nationally-recognized program.
“From the day we won last year, we worked overtime to get back,” Jones said. “This senior class was special and they all showed it all year.”

The Lions extended the lead to 14-0 at the 5:23 mark of the first quarter when Bailey found University of Miami commit Joshisa Trader Joshisa Trader 6'2" | 175 lbs | ATH Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna | 2024 State FL from 54 yards.
The first quarter came to an end when North Carolina running back commit Davion Gause Davion Gause 5'11" | 215 lbs | RB Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna | 2024 State FL took it in from the 4 and a 21-0 lead.
The Lions extended the lead to 28-0 with 10:14 left in the first half on a Bailey to Trader 7-yard touchdown.
With 6:16 remaining in the opening half, Bailey hooked up with Denarius Gray from 8-yards out and a 35-0 advantage.
The first half came to an end when Trader found Bailey from the 2 and a 42-0 lead.
Bailey was 17 of 21 for 322 yards and 4 scores. He also caught one pass at the end of the half.
Smith, with Ohio State receivers coach Brian Hartline in attendance, had 11 receptions for 170 yards.
With the clock running at the start of the second half, the Lions did extend their lead to 49-0 when freshman running back Arwin Jackson Arwin Jackson RB FL scored from the 1 with 3:16 left in the third quarter.
The Lions wrapped up the scoring when Jaquari Lewis Jaquari Lewis 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna | 2025 State FL took a snap from the shotgun formation and ran it in from the 3 with 2:02 left and a 56-0 advantage.
On the defensive side of the ball, University of Pittsburgh commit Zach Crothers had eight tackles, Gavin Shepard (six), Chris Ewald Chris Ewald 6'0" | 160 lbs | DB Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna | 2025 State FL , Khalil Hudson and Kaleb Stewart Kaleb Stewart 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna | 2024 FL (five) led the way.
For Clearwater Central Catholic (13-1), Ryan Gross, Gedontae Rich and Keo Jenkins each had led the way with six tackles.
