The game will be December 30th at South Gwinnett High School at noon. It’s for seniors in the state of Georgia that want to play one more high school game or get more exposure.
Here are some of the players playing in the game…
Jaylin Lackey Jaylin Lackey 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB South Gwinnett | 2024 State GA – South Gwinnett
One of the top two-way players in Gwinnett County and across the state for the 2024 class, Lackey is a quick, twitchy prospect with terrific ball skills currently committed to Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-0 185-pounds is quick, agile, and catches the ball well as a receiver who knows how to turn and fly down the field. Ads a defensive back, he can hold his own against tough receivers on a weekly basis and has no problem making a strong, secure tackle. He’s headed to play in the SEC, but first, he’ll be playing in the Phenom Legacy game.
Keon Davis Keon Davis 6'0" | 185 lbs | WR Salem | 2024 State GA – Newton
A big-play receiver who can really leap up and make a play on the football, Davis has great size at 6-foot-1 190-pounds with outstanding ball skills. The Newton wideout is coming off a giant senior season for Newton where he made 26 catches for 658 yards and 8 touchdowns. He’s a fun player to watch, and he’s not done making plays. He’s committed to Georgia Southern and should make a quick impact for the in-state Eagles down in Statesboro.
Marcus Mascoll Marcus Mascoll 6'5" | 285 lbs | OL South Gwinnett | 2024 State GA – South Gwinnett
A big, versatile lineman who can play on both sides of the line of scrimmage, the powerful 6-foot-5 285-pounder has a promising frame and shows quick feet and a good initial punch. A current Florida Gator commitment, Mascoll is one of the state’s top offensive tackle prospects in the 2024 class. He’s a good athlete for his size and will have a chance to dominate one final time in high school during this event.
Najiib Anderson – Rockdale County
A naturally gifted athlete and a natural playmaker, this 6-foot-3 180-pound wideout who can also make big plays defensively. He has a long, promising frame and his athleticism stands out immediately. He has a great feel for the game, reacts quickly, and can make a play on the ball. He can run, jump, and snatch the ball out of the air. He can make plays in all three phases of the game and is currently committed to play at Western Michigan. Look for him to have an impressive ballgame in his final high school all-star game.
Izaiah Taylor – South Gwinnett
A tough, physical blocker who can play both tackle and guard, Taylor is a strong senior with good size. He plays hard, shows great initial punch off the line and does a nice job of driving opposing defenders backwards. He plays with good leverage and does a good job of blocking until the whistle. He can also turn around and make plays on the defensive line. The big Liberty commitment will bring a nice blend of toughness, size, and physicality to the Flames at the next level.
