Lenz was an all around superstar for Timberlake this season with his ability to make big plays on both side of the ball. He is an all around athlete that used his skills to show why he was the MVP of the league. At running back he is able to run around and through defenders. Always falls forward and grinds out tough yards but is also able to rip of huge runs at the edge of the defense. At linebacker he is able to play sideline to sideline and impact the game which his playmaking ability. A solid tackler that can really deliver bone crushing hits at anytime during the game.
Offensive Player of the Year:
Jacob Yetter
Jacob Yetter
Yetter was a go getter in every sense of the word with his ability to really go up and get the football. He was a monster in 50/50 ball situations and with his strong hands he was able to come down with big time catches all season. He showed off his smooth route running ability and was able to create seperation all season long. He has great tracking and can really make tough catches in traffic which is what separates him from other players.
Defensive Player of the Year:
Jonathan Hansen
Jonathan Hansen
Hansen was a do it all type of linebacker where he was able to stuff the run and make an impact in coverage. He runs his feet on contact and is able to deliver bit hits. He has really good anticipation and is able to read-react quickly to what is going on in front of him. He also is able to shed blocks quickly and make plays on the running back. He is primed for a monster senior season and will be a name to watch moving forward.
Lineman of the Year:
Jeremy Hurlbert
Jeremy Hurlbert
Hurlbert is an lineman who has a solid base and strong punch that allows him to get knock back. What we like about him is his ability to finish plays. He is able to get underneath opposing plays and does a really good job of creating strength through his lower half. He showed that he was a player to watch all season long and earned a well deserved award.
