Thompson is doesn’t claim the name flash for nothing, he is a blurr on the field. He made 1st team all-bayside; 1st team kick returner and arguably special teams POTY, had 1100+ all-purpose yards, 11 touchdowns and 4 TD’s. On special teams alone he had over 400 yards due to his unofficial 4.4 speed and vision. Jadereon is an absolute weapon receiving, rushing, and defensively when the ball is in the air. He currently holds one offer from Campbell University, it won’t be long before those number increase.
Hamrick is a player that you would want to touch the ball as much as possible, he has big play on his mind and plays with a chip on his shoulder. In 7 games he recorded 600+ all-purpose yards, 4 rushing touchdowns, and 3 receiving touchdowns. He’s aggressive at receiver, he snags the ball out of the air and turns into a running back to gain YAC. Preston can make a guy miss or use his power and 5’8 185-pound frame to run through weak tackles. It will be very interesting to see how Hamrick is used in the future, he has talent that can be utilized all over the offense.
Edros is a deep ball waiting to happen and the escape during a scramble. Edros has a knack for getting open and even when he’s not, he high points the ball and secures the catch. Already making his mark in the MIAA as a freshman you can anticipate that he will be an impact player for Boys Latin in the near future. Over the offseason see Colt inaction with AIT 7v7 based out of Pennsylvania.
Highlights
Lassiter is a hard-hitting backer who’s becoming an enforcer in the center of this SFA defense. He has great size and puts it all behind his pads; he fly’s around and makes plays in the run and is competitive in the pass game. This season he forced a couple of fumbles on contact and even had an interception. He’s an athletic run stopping machine and should be on you radar for a strong defensive prospect. Devan currently holds one offer from Boston College, with no doubt that he’ll be a D1 prospect with multiple offers in a few years.
Powell is a prospect who is showing glimpses of dominance anywhere he’s needed on the field. He already has D1 DB size at 5’11 195lbs, he makes tackles with ease around the LOS scrimmage and recorded a few tackles for loss. As he continues to grow, he may naturally develop into an athletic outside linebacker or hybrid safety. He had his fair share of touchdowns this season with 2 fumble returns, and a kick return in a big game against WCAC foe Gonzaga. Powell currently hold 3 offers, including Maryland pipeline UNC Charolette, the University of Maryland, and the University of Cincinnati. Expect Powell’s recruiting stock to take a big leap by this time next year.
