Anwaar Smith
Anwaar Smith
This two way starter is jumps out to you on as Anwaar Smith is bound for the next level. While he was a first team selection on both offense and defense, my bet is will be seeing him line up at defensive tackle in college. He had 4 sacks this season to go along with 10 qb pressures, his ceiling along the defensive line is growing by the minute. He is 6’2 and 310 pounds with a 3.0 GPA, I can assure you he is bound to make a division 2 school very happy for his services.

Ju’elz Stanley
Ju’elz Stanley
While Freedom is still celebration back to back state championships, a few of their standout seniors have yet to find homes for next fall and lineman Ju’elz Stanley is one of them. Teaming up with studs like Walter Hughes and Maui Talaeai, these gentleman paved the way for Jeffrey Overton Jeffrey Overton 5’10” | 165 lbs | WR Freedom | 2025 VA breaking a number of school rushing records. Stanley is a mean physical specimen who can play on either side of the line at the next level. He was a first team all region selection at guard, but I am bullish on his play on the defensive line, another year on just one side of the football and this young man will have an even bigger impact.

Benjamin York
Benjamin York
The back to back first team all region Offensive Tackle Benjamin York is a dude you cant miss on film. He is 6’5 and close to 300 lbs. York was one of the leaders for Lake Braddock’s outstanding season that saw them go all the way to the Class 6 state semi-finals. A big time tackle like this does not grow on trees, the young man has excellent hand and footwork too, you best not miss out.

Alaric Ahrens
Alaric Ahrens
If you watched the Pioneers this past fall, you know they were all about the explosive run game and quick passes and that all started with the big man up front. Center Alaric Ahrens lead the charge as Patriot had one of the best offenses in the region. For his work Ahrens was selected first team all conference and you can see the command he holds on the line each snap. He has a good base and fires off the football on every play, a major part of the reason running back Jackson McCarter had a record breaking year. I am sure McCarter will miss him next season as he was main cog behind an outstanding offensive line.

Bryan Rudd
Bryan Rudd
Lining up next Ahrens for the past couple of season was senior guard Bryan Rudd and the tandem were a force. Here is what I broke down about his play before the season:
When I use the word versatile it may be an understatement when you watch this young man’s tape. The way he is able to get downfield to execute blocks is very impressive, you can see why the hype for this dude is starting to build. Schools such as Columbia, Carleton and Shenandoah have already sparked their interest and at 6’3 and 270 lbs., I would not be shocked if more FCS and FBS schools come calling. Rudd plays the game rough and he plays the game fast which may sound silly as he is a lineman but its true.http://www.hudl.com/v/2Juv5Mrn
As you can see he lived up to my billing earning first team all region honors and obtaining more FCS level offers.
